EN

The sharpening general conditions (WTO, EU enlargement) require further adjustments by agricultural enterprises. This contribution concerns itself with the competitiveness situation of various types of farm (commercial crop and forage crop farms) and the strengths and weaknesses of agricultural production in Austria and by international comparison. In particular, the impact of environmentally friendly production measures is investigated. Several aspects are mentioned with regard to the consequences and the development perspectives. These concern production differentiation, cost reduction, cooperation, market niches, regional aspects, supports and quality improvement. These measures call for training of farmers that is tailored to requirements.

Zaostrzenie ogólnych warunków rozszerzenia Światowej Organizacji Handlu (WTO) i Unii Europejskiej (EU) wymaga od przedsiębiorstw rolniczych dalszych dostosowań. Łączy się to z sytuacją w zakresie konkurencyjności w różnych typach ferm (fermy przemysłowe, fermy z uprawami paszowymi). Dotyczy to również zalet i słabości produkcji rolniczej w Austrii w porównaniu z sytuacją międzynarodową. Badania dotyczyły cech produkcji rolniczej przyjaznej dla środowiska w odniesieniu do perspektyw rozwojowych rolnictwa, W szczególności zajmowano się zróżnicowaniem produkcji, obniżką kosztów, kooperacją, niszami rynkowymi, aspektem regionalnym rolnictwa oraz pomocą dla rolnictwa i podnoszeniem jakości produkcji rolniczej. Wymaga to szkoleń rolników odnośnie do zaistniałych potrzeb.
