The aim of ther studies was to analyze a frequency of congenital leg muscle hypoplasia in piglets reared on grill net and full solid asphalt floors in large scale farms. Statistically significantly higher number of sick piglets in broods was noted on farms with asphalt floors comparing to farms with the grill net boxes. Congenital leg muscle hypoplasia was diagnosed in 1.46% of alive born piglets in farms with grill nets and in 1.84% of piglets in farms with the asphalt floors. Mortality reached 67% and 74%, respectively.
