After 1989, in the wholesaling, there have been occurring the processes changing the picture of functioning of the entire trade in consumer goods in Poland. In his article, the author shows that the main initiators and performers thereof are companies with foreign capital. They are still the exclusive performers of wholesale hypermarkets of the cash and carry type as well as wholesale trade centres. Moreover, they remain monopolists in construction of distribution centres and warehouse centres/logistic parks. In result, activities of foreign investors facilitates, among other things, diffusion of new technical, technological and organisational patterns and standards to the wholesale trade in Poland.

После 1989 r. в оптовой торговле происходят процессы, видоизменяющие картину функционирования всей торговли потребительскими товарами в Польше. В статье доказано, что главными их инициаторами и реализаторами являются фирмы c зарубежным капиталом. Они по-прежнему являются исключительными исполнителями оптовых гипермаркетов типа cash and carry и центров оптовой торговли. Кроме того, они остаются монополистами в строительстве распределительных центров и складских центров/логистических парков. В зффекте деятельность зарубежных инвесторов способствует, в частности, диффузии НОВЬІХ технических, технологичееских и организационных образцов и стандартов в оптовую торговлю в Польше.
