Oznaczono zawartość żelaza i magnezu w wybranych gatunkach miodów pszczelich. Oceniono także stopień realizacji zalecanego dziennego zapotrzebowania na niezbędne składniki mineralne.

The aim of this work was to determine the mineral composition of the chosen kinds of bee honey. The determination of mineral nutrients concentration was made in 25 different kinds of bee honey, after their mineralization, by flame atomic absorption spectrometry (FAAS). Reliability of the procedure was checked by analysis of certified reference materials: Cabbage IAEA-359 and Tea NCS DC 73351. The range of contents of Fe and Mg were as follows: 0.04-2.64 and 0.60-6.61 mg/100g, respectively. Based on these findings, the intake of mineral elements was evaluated vs. the RDA proposed for an adult person.
