Abstrakty
A new type of disease in cattle, dogs and humans has been defined as leukocyte adhesion deficiency (LAD). The disease has been characterised; its etiology, pathogenesis and diagnostic techniques, as applied to cattle, have been described. Principles of neutrophil migration in blood vessels have been presented, including the role of adhesion molecules.
