Insect pests occuring in stored rapeseed
Języki publikacji
Abstrakty
Some species of stored-product pests have adapted to living and feeding on stored rapeseed. These are: saw-toothed grain beetle (Oryzaephilus surinamensis L.), merchant grain beetle (Oryzaephilus mercator Fauv.), red flou beetle (Tribolium castaneum Herbst), confused flour beetle (Tribolium confusum L.), rusty grain beetle (Cryptolestes ferrugineus Steph.), khapra beetle (Trogoderma granarium Ev.), booklice (Psocids), some species of storade-product moths and mites. Some of them commonly occur in cereal stores, in Poland. Alternative storage of cereal grain and rapeseed at the same storeroom is one of factors conditioning pest feeding on stored rapeseed. A survey was conducted at 75 locations in 11 voivodeships to determine storage conditions and the occurrence of stored insect pests in stored rapeseed in Poland.
