The larval stages of two new species of mites and a new genus in the Neothrombiidae are described from a beetle (Silphidae): Neosilphitrombium annabellae sp. n. from Sri Lanka and India and Vagatotrombium lissae gen. n. and sp. n. from India.

Opisano nowy rodzaj Vagatotrombium i dwa nowe gatunki roztoczy Neosilphitrombium annabellae sp. n. i Vagatotrombium lissae sp. n. ze Sri Lanki i Indii. Oba gatunki są pasożytami niezidentyfikowanego gatunku chrząszcza z rodziny Silphidae (Coleoptera).
