Przeprowadzono analizę zawartości barwników chlorofilowych i karetenoidowych w tkankach roślin B. alba i odmianie B. alba var. rubra oraz tkance kalusowej wyprowadzonej z nasion badanej odmiany. W tkankach roślinnych stwierdzono podobny skład poszczególnych barwników, natomiast w tkance kalusowej zanotowano różnice jakościowe i ilościowe.

The content of chlorophyll and carotene dyes in Basella alba and its red variety Basella alba var. rubra as well as in the callus tissue derived from the variety seeds were analysed. The composition of particular dyes in the examined plants turned to be similar while for the callus tissue some qualitative and quantitative differences were observed.
