Abstrakty
The issues that are discussed more widely in the recent years, such as environmental protection or quality of life, brought about the increase in expectations as to the role of enterprises in respect of social effects of their operations. Consumer ethics, which is the subject of this article, has been addressed less frequently. The following issues have been elaborated: ethical consumption and ethical consumer, responsible shopping and fair trade. It has been emphasized that the education in respect of ethical consumption may contribute to the increase in consumer awareness.
