The article discusses the question of the Polish princeps Leszek the White (+1227). Contrary to the current opinion, the author established that the duke was married twice. His first wife of unknown name, married at the end of 1207 or beginning of the following year, was a daughter of Ingvar Yaroslavich. Sometime between 1208 (most probably 1210) and the last months of 1211 Leszek married another Ruthenian princess named Grzymislawa. Following the clues of Jan Dlugosz, the author proposes hypothetically that she may have been a daughter of a Rurikid named Yaroslav. Most probably it was Yaroslav Vladimirovich, who had an unnamed daughter of correct age recorded in chronicles. Because of uncertain reliability of Dlugosz's information, the author treats the question of Grzymislawa's filiation very cautiously, as the weakest link of his conclusions.
