Naming of mills largely comes from the names of millers, also according to their nationality or position to a particular housing estate or object; they could also be named by watercourse, after an unfortunate event, appearance, according to processed raw materials, the time or water sequence; interpretation of some mill names stays unclear. This article by means of historical documents studies the original name (Lhotský mlýn) and its changes that resulted in the official name Labeţský mlýn according to one of millers who was grinding here very shortly.
