Abstrakty

EN

Cultural potential of regions might significantly influence the creation of job opportunities for inhabitants through cultural tourism. As one of the main bearers of the cultural exchange it contributes to the incorporation of cultural heritage into the present and to his use within the economic and cultural development of the regions. Therefore, it is important to implement the basic principles of sustainable development: to study, to preserve and to exploit creatively the natural and cultural potential of regions as a source of economic income and a basis of the local identity as well as the image for marketing of localities. It is important also to harmonize the social, economic and environmental aspects of the development, i. e. to struggle for a balanced development based on the protection and development of traditional local values. The initiative of the creation of the development programs should come from the local or regional authorities. At the same time the professional consulting - active participation of experts - is necessary.
