The article focuses on the role of nature in contemporary lifestyles. It presents theories illustrated by students’ narratives of their personal experiences. The author aims to provide an insight into the wide range of ways in which humans can benefit from contact with nature in different stages of their lives.

Przedmiotem artykułu jest zwrócenie uwagi na rolę natury, miejsca i relacji w życiu współczesnego człowieka. Zawiera on rozważania teoretyczne dotyczące wyżej wspomnianych i badania, osadzone w paradygmacie interpretatywnym, gdzie związki człowieka z naturą stają się głównym przedmiotem zainteresowań. W artykule zamieszczono narracje badanych kobiet mieszczące się w kategoriach wyodrębnionych w trakcie analizy zebranego materiału badawczego.
