What emerges from the spiritual notes of Sister Faustyna Kowalska is the truth about the sinful moral and spiritual condition of the Polish nation. Faustina, with her prayer and penance, was asking God for mercy for her homeland. Christ, the King of Mercy, revealed that a spark would come out of Poland. It would then prepare the world for the final coming of the Savior.

Z duchowych zapisków św. Siostry Faustyny Kowalskiej wyłania się prawda o grzesznej kondycji moralno-duchowej narodu polskiego. Faustyna modlitwą i cierpieniem wstawiała się u Boga o miłosierdzie nad jej Ojczyzną. Chrystus, Król Miłosierdzia zapowiedział, że z Polski ma wyjść iskra, która ma przygotować świat na ostateczne przyjście Zbawiciela.
