W niniejszym artykule ujęto problem parametryzacji oraz możliwości jej wdrożenia w podejściu BIM na przykładzie rzeczywistej konstrukcji helikalnego mostu dla pieszych. Przedstawiono podstawowe paradygmaty programowania oraz opisano wykorzystanie wybranego środowiska programowania graficznego do tworzenia sparametryzowanych algorytmów modelujących.
Computer Aided Design (CAD), as a concept based on digital drawing tools, does not allow to gather a huge resource of information in one place. Such resources are created, completed and modified in the whole life cycle of buildings. Using CAD, they are usually multiplied, partial, dispersed and incoherent. Dataflow between more and more advanced engineering software does not lead to effective methods of project management and optimization, one of most significant part of which is parametric design. The BIM concept is based on information gathered in a central, three-dimensional model of a building that allows for better communication between different kinds of engineering software, including the environment of visual programming. In the article, questions regarding parametric design and possibilities of its implementation in BIM using visual programming have been presented. An example of a real complex helix footbridge has been included, which shows an analytical model and the BIM model creation. The authors have presented basic software paradigms and described the usage of a selected visual programming language applied for parametric modeling algorithms.
