In this paper, the construction of slow-speed disc generator of small wind power station has been presented. Assumption of low turning speed at the design stage allows for elimination of gear box, what in turn decreases the cost of generator and increases its efficiency. In construction of stator, typical cores of low power transformer have been applied. The rotor is a steel disc with neodymium magnets glued on its surface. In this paper, chosen experimental results showing electrical parameters of generator, advantages and disadvantages of prototype have also been presented.
