Purpose: The main aims of the article is to present a solution to the problem that has arisen in connection with the pandemic and the need for distance teaching of vocational subjects Design/methodology/approach: The proposed methods of solving the problem are based on the use of digital twins created by integrating existing components by developing hardware and software solutions. Findings: An effective solution was obtained that allows to improve the availability of workshop resources during remote learning and use them in the educational process. The development of techniques combining the virtual and real world seems to be a necessity. The developed solution is a step towards modernizing the approach to the teaching process in the discussed area. Practical implications: The technical university will have to develop the availability of techniques integrating virtual reality and the real world, which results from the solutions imposed by the development of Industry 4.0. The creation of digital twins for most laboratory equipment will be necessary. Social implications: Working in a hybrid mode with the use of digital twins in the case of student groups allows for effective development of awareness of responsibility in team work. Originality/value: An effective methodology for teaching the operation of advanced machine tools was implemented. Tools of this type are new solutions in the field of education, necessary from the point of view of education for employees of the future industry.

Nowe technologie i wymagania społeczeństwa informacyjnego przyczyniły się do powstania nowoczesnych metod pozyskiwania i rozwoju kompetencji menedżerskich za pomocą zdalnej edukacji. W związku z tym przyjęto, że celem prezentowanego artykułu będzie przedstawienie zestawu nowoczesnych metod pozyskiwania i rozwoju kompetencji menedżerskich za pomocą zdalnej edukacji. Przeprowadzone badania wykazały bowiem, że przedsiębiorstwa posiadają świadomość istoty swojego rozwoju i w wyniku ewolucji technologicznej wykorzystują w procesie uczenia się nowoczesne, zdalne metody nauczania tj. b-learning, e-learning, mobile learning oraz wspomaganie tradycyjnych szkoleń.

New technologies and the requirements of the information society have contributed to the modern methods of acquisition and development of managerial competencies through remote education. Therefore, it was assumed that the purpose of the present article is to present a set of new methods of acquisition and development of managerial skills with remote education is a method of teaching learning process in conditions where participants are remote from one another, and use to provide information in addition to traditional forms of communication the audio-visual technology.

Today, e-learning methods and techniques are commonly used. In the Internet age they mainly employ different standard forms of the transfer of text and audiovideo streams. However, there are disciplines where the education process cannot be realized by means of the standard e-learning technologies, e.g. physics, chemistry or other practical educational courses. The education process requires on-site presence, e.g. in specialist labs. The telerobotic technologies can allow e-learning for the courses including practical training. We have adapted a few types of the robotic manipulators to can use them for e-learning. Herein, we also present control systems and software developed by us for this idea. The presented works include the most sophisticated haptic equippment also.

Rozwój i upowszechnianie technologii teleinformatycznych umożliwiają szerokie wykorzystanie globalnej infrastruktury wymiany informacji dla potrzeb medycznych. W artykule przedstawiono aspekt bezpieczeństwa transmisji zdalnego monitoringu oraz ogólne założenia związane z możliwością pilotażowego wdrożenia interaktywnej edukacji (teleedukacji) pacjentów ośrodka implantacji i kontroli stymulatorów serca.

Telemedicine covers activities related to health care (including diagnosis, consultation, treatment, monitoring and education). The paper presents the problems of pacemaker patient tele-education and home monitoring in telemedicine environment. The author focuses on two issues: (1) non-disturbing communication of a pacemaker and home monitoring center service, (2) pacemaker patient tele-education. There is observed no malfunction of the pacemaker communication function with GSM phones (EMF source). But there are only a few reported results of investigations. In a high-tech age the expectations of pacemaker-wearers for better healthcare are rising. The application implemented in tele-education is exemplified by ePacemaker system.

Przygotowywanie materiałów szkoleniowych w wersji elektronicznej posiada cechy charakterystyczne zarówno dla projektów edukacyjnych jak i informatycznych. W wyniku kilkuletnich doświadczeń w CEN PRz wypracowano własną metodę zarządzania projektami e-leamingowymi. Bazując na definicji projektu, która mówi, że jest on środowiskiem zarządczym stworzonym w celu dostarczania ściśle określonych produktów, podjęto próbę zarządzania takim projektem za pośrednictwem Internetu. Ograniczono w ten sposób liczbę bezpośrednich spotkań wykonawców do niezbędnego minimum, tj. przyjęcia zlecenia projektu i jego finalnego dostarczenia Wszystkie pozostałe etapy konsultacji rozwiązań projektowych odbywały się przy użyciu najnowocześniejszych rozwiązań komunikacyjnych i metodologii dostosowanej do specyficznych warunków grupowej pracy na odległość. Metodyka, którą przedstawiono w tej publikacji, pozwala na efektywne zarządzanie cyklem życia projektu e-leaningowego w przypadku rozproszenia geograficznego jego wykonawców.

Projects of creating e-Iearning kontent Combie the features of educational design and software engineering. As a result of research in on-line learning and content design performed by Rzeszow university of Technology Distance Education Learning Center the individual way of project management will be presented. Basing on a definition of project management which is saying that project is a specific environment created to deliver specific products the experiment of managing the project over internet was overtaken. Using this methodology the need for organizing meetings was minimized to the level of two: one for starting the Project and meeting with the client, and the other for final delivery. Every other activity connected with PM was performed with usage of ICT.

Thie article deals with e-learning and teleworking systems prepared for visually impaired people. The review of tools and technolgies helping in preparation of educational contents, technical and scientific documents suitable for the blind has been presented. The necessity of easy knowledge and information exchange between sighted and visually impaired people is also emphasized in the article.

Rozwój technologii informacyjnych powoduje wszechstronne zmiany we wszystkich sferach życia i funkcjonowania współczesnych społeczeństw. Kształtują się nowe modele procesów społeczno-gospodarczych. W referacie podjęto próbę analizy i oceny istoty i zakresu zmian w odniesieniu do tylko jednej grupy takich procesów – procesów edukacyjnych. W szczególności, na tle analizy potrzeb i zmian oraz roli edukacji w społeczeństwie informacyjnym, przedstawiono zdalne nauczanie jako narzędzie edukacyjne odpowiadające nowym wyzwaniom, wskazano na potrzeby tworzenia i zarysowano dające się już zauważyć zasadnicze kierunki kształtowania standardów najbardziej zaawansowanych systemów nauczania na odległość - e-learning. Dokonano także próby określenia nowej roli nauczyciela i uczącego się w systemach zdalnej edukacji, a w systemach e-learning w szczególności, a także zasygnalizowano uwarunkowania i ograniczenia systemów zdalnej edukacji.

W artykule opisano zalety przejścia na elektroniczną formę rejestracji ocen oraz przedstawiono opracowany przez autorów system wirtualnych arkuszy ocen. Oprogramowanie może wspomagać zarówno klasyczne nauczanie, jak i realizowane jako tzw. "zdalna edukacja". Autorzy zaprojektowali sposób dostępu do informacji przechowywanych w bazie danych w oparciu o technologię web-services. Opisany został sposób tworzenia aplikacji klienckich korzystających z opracowanego systemu. Przedstawiono również aplikacje klienckie będące integralną częścią systemu.

The article describes advantages of keeping information on student's grades in electronic form and introduces virtual grade sheets system. The solution supports both classical education and teleeducation. The authors have designed data access and! control method based on web-services technology. The article describes how to create client applications for this system - examples of integral client applications are given.
