W artykule oceniono stan techniczny oraz parametry eksploatacyjne polskich śródlądowych dróg wodnych oraz niezbędny zakres zadań inwestycyjnych, mających na celu przywrócenie ich żeglowności. Wskazano miejsce żeglugi śródlądowej w polityce transportowej oraz polskim systemie transportowym. Zarekomendowano zadania, które w okresie krótkoterminowym powinny usunąć miejsca najbardziej limitujące warunki nawigacyjne, natomiast w okresie długoterminowym przystosują główne drogi wodne do parametrów szlaków żeglugowych o znaczeniu międzynarodowym. Najbardziej istotne dla integracji europejskiej sieci dróg wodnych, zgodnie z Porozumieniem AGN, którego proces akcesyjny właśnie został wszczęty przez Polskę, są: Odrzańska Droga Wodna; środkowy i dolny odcinek Wisły od Warszawy do Gdańska; droga wodna Wisła–Odra oraz droga wodna Warszawa–Brześć. Wskazano także szacunkowe koszty budowy i modernizacji wybranych śródlądowych dróg wodnych oraz korzyści gospodarcze, wynikające z właściwego zagospodarowania wielofunkcyjnych dróg wodnych. Niepodjęcie stosownych działań inwestycyjnych byłoby marnotrawstwem naturalnego potencjału, jakim są główne rzeki kraju.

The article asses the technical condition and operating parameters of Polish inland waterways and points to the necessary scope of investment projects which aim at restoring their navigability. It presents the place of inland navigation in Polish transport policy and within transport system. It recommends short-term tasks which should eliminate the most limiting navigational conditions, and in the long term it presents tasks which would adapt the parameters of main waterways for the purposes of international navigation. The most important waterways from the point of view of the integration of the European network of waterways, according to the AGN Agreement – whose ratification has just been begun by Poland – are: the Oder Waterway; the middle and lower sections of the Vistula river, from Warsaw to Gdańsk; the Vistula-Oder Waterway and the Warsaw-Brześć Waterway. The article also presents the estimated costs of construction and modernisation of chosen inland waterways and the economic benefits arising from the proper management of multifunctional waterways. Failure to undertake appropriate investment activities would be a waste of the natural potential of our main rivers.

Podstawowym elementem krajowego systemu elektroenergetycznego gwarantującym bezpieczeństwo i niezawodność zasilania odbiorców jest istniejąca infrastruktura sieciowa. Jej niezawodne działanie ma znaczący wpływ na prawidłowe funkcjonowanie krajowej gospodarki, a zdolność przesyłu i transformacji energii elektrycznej wydatnie wspomaga rozwój gospodarczy kraju. W artykule przedstawiono oddziaływanie potrzeb w zakresie zdolności przesyłu i transformacji energii elektrycznej na prowadzenie modernizacji i realizację nowych zamierzeń inwestycyjnych w sieci przesyłowej.

The basic element of the Polish power system which guarantees the security and reliability of supply for consumers is the existing grid infrastructure. Its reliable work is of significant influence on correct functioning of the Polish economy. Ability of transmission and transformation of electrical energy supports the economic development of Poland significantly. A particular role attributed to the development of EHV power grids is a result of the competitive market requirements, among which increase in demand for electrical energy and the high standard of supply quality for customers are dominant. The paper presents the effect of needs in the field of transmission and transformation of electrical energy on modernization and realization of new invest-ments in EHV power grids. The presented considerations point out an urgent need for capitalization of the transmission and distribution grid. The particular attention should be paid to the problem of devices for transformation of electrical energy. Interest in that group of devices should include both new and exploited units, which is connected with guarantee of continuity of electrical energy supply for customers. In this field useful measuring techniques and diagnostic methods should be developed as well as they should be effectively introduced in electrical power engineering.

Artykuł zawiera podstawowe przesłanki i założenia do nowej klasyfikacji zadań inwestycyjnych w kopalniach węgla kamiennego. W zaproponowanej klasyfikacji zadania zostały podzielone na 13 grup, według struktury procesu produkcji węgla kamiennego. Dla każdego zadania inwestycyjnego określono jego nazwę, oznaczenie, zakres rzeczowy oraz sposób oceny ekonomicznej efektywności. W artykule przedstawiono przykład klasyfikacji zadań inwestycyjnych realizowanych w ramach grupy .Udostępnienie złoża węgla kamiennego.. Propozycja klasyfikacji i oceny ekonomicznej efektywności górniczych zadań inwestycyjnych jest skierowana do wszystkich uczestników procesu inwestycyjnego w kopalniach i w spółkach węglowych.

The article contains basic prerequisites and assumptions for a new classification of investment tasks in hard coal mines. In the suggested classification the tasks have been sub-divided into 13 groups according to the structure of coal production process. Each investment task has been assigned a name, denotation subject matter scope and the way of economic assessment. The article presents an example of investment tasks classification realised within a group ,,Opening up of a hard coal deposit". The proposal of classification and economic effectiveness - assessment of mining investment tasks is directed to all participants of investment processes in mines and coal companies.
