This article expands on the earlier publication by the same authors [1], where the clothing production processes were classified into groups. One of them was manufacture. Because this stage is crucial to production as a whole and a review of the pertinent literature failed to find other studies on this subject, excluding one report where it was only briefly covered [8], research work was continued to identify and define its constituent elements. All activities making up the manufacture of clothing were divided hierarchically into technological phases, technological operations, technological actions and elementary movements. The discussion of this hierarchy is illustrated by empirical examples. The proposed division will help systematize the notions used in the theory of management and business practice, which was the aim of the research.
