W artykule przeanalizowano współczesne systemy elewacji z zastosowaniem przestrzeni wentylacyjnej, tj. elewacje podwójne typu DSF i elewacje wentylowane. Skupiono się na analizie współczesnej wiedzy z zakresu efektywności termicznej tych elewacji oraz wykorzystania ich w klimacie umiarkowanym ze względu na oszczędności energii. Przeanalizowano również możliwość dalszego rozwoju elewacji z zastosowaniem przestrzeni wentylacyjnej.

The article analyzes contemporary facade systems with ventilation space i.e. double skin façades and opaque ventilated façades. The article analyzes contemporary knowledge of thermal efficiency of these façades and their use in a temperate climate due to energy savings. The possibility of further development of such elevations was analyzed.

Historical buildings generally have no, or only have a passive protection of structures against the ingress of moisture in contact with soil. Materials embedded in structures of these buildings are often saturated with moisture. When reconstructing, we must apply a different methodology than when reconstructing the newer buildings. Differentiated treatment is affected by traditional construction technologies and also by the mechanical and physical properties of building materials. As regards listed historic monuments, special „barrier” is constituted by the monument protection office, or rather the opinion of the representative of the monument protection office. Its priority is the selection of those remedial treatments, which, if not stop the spread of moisture, at least eliminate it. In all of that there is the emphasis on the methodology of preservation of historical monuments and constructional possibilities of historic buildings. With respect to the abovementioned requirements, the acting humidity can be effectively removed, using ventilated air cavities. These are commonly used in connection with remedial treatments of damp masonry, especially in historic buildings.

Przedstawiono propozycję sposobu wyznaczania wartości temperatury w przestrzeni wentylowanej komina wieloprzewodowego w zależności od wybranych parametrów meteorologicznych oraz eksploatacyjnych. Proponowany sposób prognozowania temperatury oparto na podstawie długotrwałych obserwacji komina wieloprzewodowego o wysokości 250 m oraz na podstawie wyników pomiarów rozpoznawczych w kominie wieloprzewodowym o wysokości 300 m. Otrzymane rezultaty mogą być pomocne w prognozowaniu wartości temperatury w określonych miejscach przestrzeni wentylowanej na okres planowanych remontów oraz mogą stanowić źródło danych do analizy konstrukcji komina w zakresie oddziaływań termicznych.

A proposition of determination of temperature in ventilated space of multi-flue industrial chimneys with relation to meteorological and operational parameters is presented. A proposed method of temperature prediction is based on measurement results obtained during long-term monitoring of 250 m high chimney and during introductory research performed at 300 m high structure. The obtained results can be useful in prediction of temperature in required locations of ventilated space at the preparatory stage of maintenance works and may also be used as data source for structural analysis of chimneys subjected to thermal actions.
