W artykule opisano programowy, uruchamialny na komputerze klasy PC, tester urządzeń zabezpieczeniowych zgodny ze standardem IEC61850. Do wysyłania danych będących próbkami sygnałów analogowych prądów i napięć wykorzystano łącze Ethernet, a same dane zostały umieszczone w ramkach SV (ang. Sampled Values ). Celem artykułu jest ukazanie możliwości oraz sposobu testowania nowych urządzeń elektroenergetycznej automatyki zabezpieczeniowej posiadających cyfrowe wejścia pomiarowe pozwalające na odbiór danych SV, za pomocą testerów będących programami uruchamianymi na komputerze PC. Przeprowadzone badania wykazały prawidłowe zachowanie przekaźników elektroenergetycznych, zasilanych strumieniem danych syntezowanym przy pomocy programowego testera. Nie zanotowano różnic w stosunku do konwencjonalnych, komercyjnych rozwiązań, a sam tester programowy jest przezroczysty z punktu widzenia testowanych urządzeń.

This paper describes IEC61850 compliant protective device software tester, that can be run on a PC grade machine. Tester delivers current and voltage samples to the protection device by the means of Sampled Values data stream on the top of Ethernet link. The series of tests carried out with the use of entitled software are being presented. Analysis of those results proves proper operation of power protection devices fed with data stream synthesized by software tester. No differences in operation were observed in comparison to conventional solutions and tester itself is transparent from tested device point of view.

The paper presents the testing methods, laboratory stand and devices used in tests of protection devices exchanging data through SDH network devices. The paper has arisen as a result of Institute of Power Engineering and PSE Operator cooperation. In this cooperation many tests were made. The range of tests covers the protection functionality tests and SDH devices test focused on determination of possibilities, conditions and problems that exist or may happen during their interoperation.

W artykule przedstawiono metodykę wykonanych testów oraz omówiono ich wyniki.

The paper presents results of tests investigating the subject of distance protection coordination by exchanging binary signals between substations with IEC61850 protocol. The testing stand, testing methods and devices have also been described. For comparison reasons, the results of the same kind of tests where the SDH network has been used to exchange the information have been described. The paper has arisen on the base of tests performed by Institute of Power Engineering of Warsaw University of Technology on behalf of PSE Operator.

Dla porównania opisano również wyniki testów wymiany sygnałów dwustanowych z wykorzystaniem sieci SDH. Badania zostały przeprowadzone we współpracy Instytutu Elektroenergetyki Politechniki Warszawskiej oraz firmy PSE Operator S.A.

The paper presents the interoperability tests of IEC61850 compatible devices, which have been performed in the laboratory of Warsaw University of Technology. The descriptions of the test stand, tests performed and chosen tests together with their results have been given. The paper also presents the conclusions drawn from results of tests.
