Content available remote On multivalent close-to-star functions
EN
The present paper deals with certain generalized subclasses of multivalent close-to-star functions defined with subordination. Various properties of these classes such as the coefficient estimates, growth theorems, argument theorems and inclusion relations are studied. Some earlier known results will follow as particular cases.

Content available remote On Strongly Orthogonal Martingales in Umd Banach Spaces
EN
In the present paper we introduce the notion of strongly orthogonal martingales. Moreover, we show that for any UMD Banach space X and for any X-valued strongly orthogonal martingales M and N such that N is weakly differentially subordinate to M, one has, for all 1 < p < 1, [formula] with the sharp constant χp;X being the norm of a decoupling-type martingale transform and lying in the range, [formula], where βp;X is the UMDp constant of X, hp;X is the norm of the Hilbert transform on Lp(R; X), [formula] are the Gaussian decoupling constants.

Content available remote On q-analogue of Janowski-type starlike functions with respect to symmetric points
EN
The main objective of the present paper is to define a class of q-starlike functions with respect to symmetric points in circular domain. Some interesting results of these functions have been evaluated in this article. The sufficiency criteria in the form of convolutions are evaluated. Furthermore, other geometric properties such as coefficient bounds, distortion theorem, closure theorem and extreme point theorem are also obtained for these newly defined functions.
EN
In this paper, we determine the coefficient estimates and the Fekete-Szegö inequalities for [wzór], the class of analytic and univalent functions associated with quasi-subordination.

Content available remote On coefficient problems of an operator with respect to symmetric point
EN
In this research work, we study the properties of a certain differential subordination involving an operator with respect to a symmetric point. We establish coefficient estimates as our main results.
EN
In the present paper we define some classes of meromorphic functions with fixed argument of coefficients. Next we obtain coefficient estimates, distortion theorems, integral means inequalities, the radii of convexity and starlikeness and convolution properties for the defined class of functions.
EN
In this paper we define classes of harmonic functions related to the Janowski functions and we give some necessary and sufficient conditions for these classes. Some topological properties and extreme points of the classes are also considered. By using extreme points theory we obtain coefficients estimates, distortion theorems, integral mean inequalities for the classes of functions.

Content available remote Certain subordination results on the convolution of analytic functions
EN
In this paper, certain subordination results on the convolution of finite number of analytic functions are derived. Our results include a sufficiency condition for convexity of the convolution of analytic functions fi satisfying [wzór].
EN
The aim of this paper is to introduce two new classes of analytic function by using principle of subordination and the Dziok-Srivastava operator. We further investigate convolution properties for these calsses. We also nd necessary and sufficient condition and coefficient estimate for them.

EN
K. I. Noor (2007 Appl. Math. Comput. 188, 814–823) has defined the classes Qk(a, b, λ, γ) and Tk(a, b, λ, γ) of analytic functions by means of linear operator connected with incomplete beta function. In this paper, we have extended some of the results and have given other properties concerning these classes.

Content available remote A class of univalent functions involving a differentio-integral operator
EN
This paper focuses on a generalized linear operator Im which is a combination of both differential and integral operators. Involving this operator, a class Tsk(...) with respect to k-symmetric points is defined. Results based on coefficient inequalities and bounds for this class are obtained. Various integral representations and some consequent results for TS(...) class are also determined. Further, results on partial sums are discussed.

In the social system the scope of the term authority is perceived as infinite. The paper in the semantic analysis indicates factors determining authority impact in the pervasion process in terms of features of the certain identity and their location. They include attributes and signals, credibility and obedience. Authority must respond to them, because they enable the carrier of the authority to be put above the receiver, to make influence and as an effect of that to subordinate the receiver.

In this paper, we study and use differential subordination methods to obtain several interesting subordination results and best dominants for higher order derivatives of multivalent functions deffined with Srivastava Attiya operator.

Let p ∈ N* and β,γ ∈ C with β,≠ 0 and let ∑p denote the class of meromorphic functions of the form g(z) = α-p/zp + α0 + α1z + …, z ∈ U, α-p ≠ 0. We consider the integral operator Jp,β,γ : Kp,β,γ: ⊂ ∑p → ∑p defined by [formula]. We introduce some new subclasses of the class ∑p, associated with subordination and superordination, such that, in some particular cases, these new subclasses are the well-known classes of meromorphic starlike functions and we study the properties of these subclasses with respect to the operator Jp,β,γ.

We investigate the family of functions normalized by the condition ƒ(0) = ƒ(0) - 1 = 0, that are analytic in the unit disk, with the property that the domain of values [...] is the disk |z-b| < b, b ≥ 1. Integral and convolution characterizations are found and coefficients bounds are given.

Content available remote A new class of multivalent analytic functions defined by the hadamard product
EN
The object of the present paper is to investigate the coefficients estimates, distortion properties, the radii of starlikeness and convexity, subordination theorems, partial sums and integral mean inequalities for classes of functions with two fixed points. Some remarks depicting consequences of the main results are also mentioned.

Content available remote Generalized classes of uniformly convex functions
EN
In this paper we introduce some subclasses of analytic functions with varying argument of coeffcients. These classes are defined in terms of the Hadamard product and generalize the well-known classes of uniformly convex functions. We investigate the coeffcients estimates, distortion properties, radii of starlikeness and convexity for defined classes of functions.

Content available remote Distributional properties of the negative binomial Lévy process
EN
The geometric distribution leads to a Lévy process parameterized by the probability of success. The resulting negative binomial process (NBP) is a purely jump and non-decreasing process with general negative binomial marginal distributions. We review various stochastic mechanisms leading to this process, and study its distributional structure. These results enable us to establish strong convergence of the NBP in the supremum norm to the gamma process, and lead to a straightforward algorithm for simulating sample paths. We also include a brief discussion of estimation of the NPB parameters, and present an example from hydrology illustrating possible applications of this model.
EN
In our present work we obtained some interesting properties of convolution using the generalized Sâlâgean operator on univalent functions with rnissing coefficients, also we investigate other results by making use of subordination concept.
