Koncepcja otwartych sieci dostępu radiowego (O-RAN) uwzględnia aplikacje xApp, które sterują konfiguracją sieci. Mimo pojawiania się nowych zastosowań xApp, problem konfliktów między ich decyzjami nie został zgłębiony. Artykuł zawiera opis struktury systemu osadzonego w architekturze sieci O-RAN, który pozwala na wykrywanie wszystkich rodzajów konfliktów między decyzjami xApp. Wnioskuje się, że określenie metod wykrycia konfliktów jest pierwszym krokiem do zapewnienia ustandaryzowanej metody rozwiązywania konfliktów w sieciach O-RAN.

Evolution of the Open RAN concept brings light to xApps and what are their potential use-cases in the O-RAN-compliant networks. The issue of detecting conflicts between decisions made by various xApps has not yet been addressed in detail. This paper defines a Conflict Detection Framework built into the existing O-RAN architecture to reliably detect all conflict types defined in the O-RAN Technical Specifications. It is concluded that defining a unified framework for all conflict types is the first step to provide a standard method of conflict mitigation in O-RAN.

W artykule rozpatrujemy problem maksymalizacji przepustowości ruchowej kratowych sieci radiowych z pakietowym ruchem multicastowym obsługiwanym w trybie wielodostępu czasowego TDMA. W tego typu sieciach pakiety kierowane są od źródeł do ujść po drogach określonych za pomocą drzewa routingowego. W przedstawionych rozważaniach, zilustrowanych obliczeniowo, badamy, jak rożne sposoby doboru drzew routingowych wpływają na przepustowość ruchową sieci. Badania takie mogą być pomocne przy konfigurowaniu sieci sensorowych.

In this paper we consider an optimization problem of maximizing traffic throughput in wireless mesh networks with multicast packet traffic. In such networks the way packets are transmitted from sources to destinations is controlled by means of routing trees. In the presented numerical study we examine impact of different routing trees selection methods on network’s traffic throughput efficiency. The considerations can be helpful in wireless sensor networks operation.

Przedstawiono różne metody wyznaczania zasięgu sieci radiowej w terenie otwartym w obecności wielu zakłóceń interferencyjnych. Omówiono zarówno metody uproszczone i metody przybliżone, jak i metody dokładne. Oceniono celowość i zasadniczy zakres stosowalności metod. Na przykładach pokazano wyniki analiz zasięgu za pomocą różnych metod. Wskazano na konieczność stosowania metod analiz zakłóceń interferencyjnych w coraz aktywniej wykorzystywanym środowisku fal radiowych.

The article shows various methods for estimation radio network coverage in open areas in case of existence of multiple interferences. Different methods were present: simplified methods approximate methods as well as precise methods. Aim and range of application of the methods has been assessed. Examples of the results of coverage calculation were shown. Necessity of taking advantage of the methods for multiple interference assessment in current active radio resources exploitation was indicated.

The command system and particularly the communication system were subjected to enormous development in recent years. The main reasons for these changes were the two areas of conditions - the kind of armed conflicts and digitalisation of communication nets. Due to this fact the undergoing changes in the surrounding of military communication systems demand a new approach to analyse and evaluate this development of battlefield nets. The conclusions drawn from the above research on qualitative aspects of internal and external development of battlefield nets were presented in this article. Therefore the battlefield nets were placed in higher level of command and the basic areas of determination in the development of this kind of communication were selected. Creating next numerous criteria of battlefield nets’ division aimed at respecting multi-aspect internal changes were undergoing in the analysed systems. The presented results and conclusions from the conducted research were used in the next cycle of scientific exploration to determine the main trends in the development of battlefield nets.

Speed and heterogeneity in technological, social and structural changes having influence upon the battlefield nets create the need of constructing target conception of such a military telecommunication subsystem that could have be conducted for many years to come. Specifying the main trends in changes undergoing in analysed systems is the process leading to the defining of the future battlefield net structures. A particular attention was paid to the analysis of the results and conclusions from the research on development of battlefield net trends in the selected areas of their functioning. One of the development trends is a numerous collection of determinants affecting the planning and using of these military telecommunication nets. The basic determinants include mobility, information flow capacity, resistance to noise and jamming and security. The above factors were analysed, first of all, in aspect of using frequency ranges of the military communication systems. The results of this analysis may be useful for constructing the perspective battlefield net structures. These assumptions are based on two main levels - tactical range areas and higher levels of the battlefield nets command.

W artykule przedstawiono koncepcję budowy systemu diagnostycznego urządzeń sterowania ruchem kolejowym opartego na sieciach bezprzewodowych krótkiego zasięgu. Urządzenie to pozwoli na prowadzenie diagnostyki on-line, co znacznie uprości proces diagnostyczny przy jednoczesnym podwyższeniu bezpieczeństwa. Koncepcję przedstawiono na przykładzie diagnostyki napędu zwrotnicowego.

The article deals with the conceptions of the diagnostic system of interlocking with usage a short distance wireless network. The system will allow providing online diagnostics, what makes such a diagnostic process much easier and improves safety at the same time.
