Przedstawiono wpływ usytuowania stężeń prętowych na siły wewnętrzne elementów wsporczych dwunawowej hali żelbetowej wykonanej z prefabrykatów. Wykonano analizę porównawczą pięciu modeli hali, tj. jednego bez stężeń oraz czterech z różnie usytuowanym systemem stężeń. Odpowiednio usytuowane stężenia powodują zmniejszenie wartości sił wewnętrznych (momentów) szczególnie w słupach wewnętrznych.

The article presents the influence of the bracing system location on the internal forces of the two-bay single storey industrial precast building. Five R-C precast building models were analyzed, four of them with different bracing system arranged. The analysis indicated that properly located bracing system reduced the internal forces (flexural moments) especially in the internal columns.

This paper presents an experimental study on structural performance of concrete poles used in electric power distribution network (EPDN). Three full scale 12-m concrete poles were tested; and a numerical study on a 7-span distribution line was also carried out in order to investigate lateral behavior of the network under severe weather conditions, as it is believed EPDN has a vital role on sustainability of power transmission from the power planet to the consumers which might be hundreds kilometers far away. One of the main issues in EPDN is concrete poles’ collapse under simultaneous wind and ice loads in some unreachable snow covered areas. However, the results show that the prescribed loading regimes by standards do not induce any damage into the distribution network nevertheless some unforeseen loads like gust wind load in heavy weather conditions cause the poles’ failure. Therefore, a non-linear pushover analysis was carried out to find out the weakest part of the distribution network; and finally some suggestions for increasing the EPDN's sustainability are made.

In the paper general description of reinforced concrete columns of railway overhead lines in Poland was given. Domestic pre-tensioned prestressed spun concrete columns of ETG and ETGw type for supporting structures of railway overhead line on reinforced concrete pile foundations were presented.

In the paper the recommendations and requirements concerning the structural and surface protection of concrete in prestressed pre-tensioned and reinforced concrete poles for executing supporting structures of overhead power engineering lines and lighting columns are given. On the basis of the analysis of literature, standards and many years of experience of applying such structures the conclusions and recommendations were defined. They concern designing and executing of power engineering and lighting columns for 30 and 50 years of exploitation period without maintenance and surface protections of concrete.

Przedmiotem artykulu są zmodernizowane żelbetowe żerdzie dwugałęziowe, stosowane w kraju jako konstrukcje wsporcze w napowietrznych liniach elektroenergetycznych niskich napięć. W zmodernizowanych żerdziach pozostawiono bez zmian podstawowe wymiary gabarytowe i rozmieszczenie otworów technologicznych. Zmieniono natomiast klasę betonu, gatunek i ilość zbrojenia oraz grubość minimalnej otuliny zbrojenia dostosowując ją do wymagań aktualnych norm.

The subject of the work are upgraded reinforced concrete double branch poles. They are used in Poland as supporting structures of low voltage electric power lines. In the upgraded poles the basic dimensions and technological holes arrangement are unchanged. However, the class of concrete, the sort and quantity of reinforcing steel, the thickness of minimal concrete cover were adjusted to the requirements of the current standards.
