Głównym celem pracy była analiza zużycia wody wodociągowej w Rzeszowie w czasie kryzysu uchodźczego z Ukrainy po rozpoczęciu działań wojennych 24.02.2022 roku przez Rosję. Różne dane medialne podawały, że liczba mieszkańców Rzeszowa zwiększyła się nawet o 100 000. Tego rodzaju fakt powinien znaleźć odzwierciedlenie w zużyciu wody wodociągowej. Z przyjętego jednostkowego zużycia wody wynoszącego 0,15 m3/Mk/d wynika, że przybyło od 13 do 15 tys. mieszkańców. Dane te korelują z liczbą nadanych numerów PESEL, która w Rzeszowie wynosi 12 000.

The main aim of the work is to analyze the tap water consumption in Rzeszów during the refugee crisis from Ukraine after the start of the hostilities on February 24, 2022 by Russia. Various media data reported that the population of Rzeszów increased by as much as 100,000. This fact should be reflected in the consumption of tap water. The adopted unit water consumption of 0.15 m3/(Mk.d) shows that it increased from 13,000 to 15,000 new inhabitants. These data correlate with the number of assigned PESEL numbers, which in Rzeszów is 12,000.

Autor przedstawia krótka historię imigracji w Holandii, od powstania Republiki Siedmiu Zjednoczonych Prowincji Niderlandzkich w XVI wieku oraz powiązanych z tym faktem masowych migracji ludności, poprzez kolejne stulecia. Jednak przede wszystkim skupiając się na XX i XXI stuleciu, gdzie porusza kwestie mniejszości etnicznych i religijnych, feminizacji migracji, kryzysu uchodźczego z 2015 roku oraz przedstawia obecną strukturę ludności Królestwa Niderlandów.

The author presents a short history of immigration in the Netherlands, from the founding of the Republic of the Seven United Netherlands Provinces in the 16th century and the related mass migration of people through subsequent centuries. However, first of all, focusing on the twentieth and twenty-first century, where he addresses the issues of ethnic and religious minorities, feminization of migration, the refugee crisis of 2015 and presents the current structure of the population of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

The refugee and migrants movement is a historical phenomenon, driven by global forces and having effects on politics, economy and community of the hosting countries. Especially, the refugee and migrant stream of recent years – 2015 and 2016, has a decisive impact on the demand of touristic services on the Greek islands in northern Aegean Sea. The aim of the study is to examine and to compare the expected and the real impact of the current migrant and refugee crisis on the tourism, social and economic sphere on the islands according to the interviewed hoteliers on islands Lesvos and Chios. Crucial to maintaining the good image of these tourism destinations, is the good coordination between the local communities, local authorities and those at national, regional and international level on marketing, economic and regional policy.
