Content available remote Solving system of linear equations via bicomplex valued metric space
EN
In this paper, we prove some common fixed point theorems on bicomplex metric space. Our results generalize and expand some of the literature’s well-known results. We also explore some of the applications of our key results.
EN
In this paper, we prove strong convergence and ∆-convergence of Fibonacci-Mann iteration for a monotone non-Lipschitzian mapping (i.e. nearly asymptotically nonexpansive mapping) in partially ordered hyperbolic metric space. Moreover, we prove stability of Fibonacci-Mann iteration. Further, we construct a numerical example to illustrate results. Our results simultaneously generalize the results of Alfuraidan and Khamsi [Bull. Aust. Math. Soc., 2017, 96, 307-316] and Schu [J. Math. Anal. Appl., 1991, 58, 407-413].

Content available remote An admissible hybrid contraction with an Ulam type stability
EN
In this manuscript, we introduce a new hybrid contraction that unify several nonlinear and linear contractions in the set-up of a complete metric space. We present an example to indicate the genuine of the proved result. In addition, we consider Ulam type stability and well-posedness for this new hybrid contraction.

Content available remote Some fixed point results on G-metric and Gb-metric spaces
EN
The purpose of this paper is to prove some fixed point results using JS-G-contraction on G-metric spaces, also to prove some fixed point results on Gb-complete metric space for a new contraction. Our results extend and improve some results in the literature. Moreover, some examples are presented to illustrate the validity of our results.

A topological space is called connected if it is not the union of two disjoint, nonempty and open sets in this space. The standard exercises show that here the concept of open sets can be replaced by closed sets or separated sets. In this context we will discuss the definition of connected sets in topological spaces, not being the whole space with particular regard to metric spaces, without the term of subspace topology.
EN
A very interesting approach in the theory of fixed point is some general structures was recently given by Jachymski by using the context of metric spaces endowed with a graph. The purpose of this article is to present some new fixed point results for G-nonexpansive mappings defined on an ultrametric space and non-Archimedean normed space which are endowed with a graph. In particular, we investigate the relationship between weak connectivity graph and the existence of fixed point for these mappings.

Content available remote Semi-slant submersions from almost product Riemannian manifolds
EN
In this paper, we introduce semi-slant submersions from almost product Riemannian manifolds onto Riemannian manifolds. We give some examples, investigate the geometry of foliations which are arisen from the definition of a Riemannian submersion. We also find necessary and sufficient conditions for a semi-slant submersion to be totally geodesic.

Mursaleen introduced the concepts of statistical convergence in random 2-normed spaces. Recently Mohiuddine and Aiyup defined the notion of lacunary statistical convergence and lacunary statistical Cauchy in random 2-normed spaces. In this paper, we define and study the notion of lacunary statistical convergence and lacunary of statistical Cauchy sequences in random on χ2 over p- metric spaces dfined by Musielak and prove some theorems which generalizes Mohiuddine and Aiyup results.

We establish turnpike results for a nonautonomous discrete-time optimal control system describing a model of economic dynamics.
EN
In this paper, we obtain some new fixed point theorems in generalized metric spaces for maps satisfying an implicit relation. The obtained results unify, generalize, enrich, complement and extend a multitude of related fixed point theorems from metric spaces to generalized metric spaces.

In this paper, a general coincidence and common fixed points theorem for two hybrid pairs of mappings satisfying property (E.A) is proved, generalizing the main results from [3] and [9].

Content available remote On a study of double gai sequence space
EN
Let χ2 denote the space of all prime sense double gai sequences and Λ2 the space of all prime sense double analytic sequences. This paper is devoted to the general properties of χ2.

The Demyanov metric in the family of convex, compact sets in finite dimensional spaces has been recently extended to the family of convex, bounded sets – not necessarily closed. In this note it is shown that these spaces are not complete and a model for the completion is proposed. A full answer is given in R2 and the situation in higher dimensions is discussed.
EN
The purpose of this paper is to prove common fixed point theorems for a family of mappings in symmetric spaces using the property (E.A) and weak compatibility or occasionally weak compatibility. Our results extend some recent results.

Content available remote A fixed point theorem in generalized metric spaces
EN
A generalized metric space has been defined by Branciari as a metric space in which the triangle inequality is replaced by a more general inequality. Subsequently, some classical metric fixed point theorems have been transferred to such a space. In this paper, we continue in this direction and prove a version of Fisher’s fixed point theorem in generalized metric spaces.

Content available On local Whitney convergence
EN
In this paper we will give definitions of local Whitney convergence in F(X,Y ) and in C(X,Y ), where X is a topological space, (Y,d) is a metric space and F(X,Y ) is the space of all functions from X to Y and C(X,Y ) is the space of all continuous functions from X to Y . We will study some properties of this notion and connections with other kinds of convergence.

Content available remote Fixed points for k mappings on a complete metric spaces
EN
A fixed point theorem for three mappings on a metric space into itself is proved. This result extends the results obtained in [1] from two mappings to three map pings, and after that, a generalization for an arbitrary number of mappings is obtained. As corollaries of these results we obtain the extending of Theorems of Nesic, Rhoades, Chatterjea, Rus and Kannan for an arbitrary number of mappings.

Content available remote Well-posedness of the fixed point problem for ø-max-contractions
EN
We study the well-posedness of the fixed point problem for self-mappings of a metric space which are ø-max-contractions (see [6]).
EN
In this paper we investigate the existence and uniqueness for fractional and non-fractional dierential equations in cone metric spaces. The result is obtained by using the some extensions of Banach's contraction principle in complete cone metric space, fractional calculus and the theory of strongly continuous cosine family.
EN
The existence of coincidence points and common fixed points for six mappings satisfying certain contractive conditions without exploiting the notion of continuity in cone metric spaces is established. Our results generalize, improve and extend several well known comparable results in the literature.
