W artykule omówiono działanie oprogramowania antywirusowego typu klient/chmura oraz różnice pomiędzy standardowym oprogramowaniem antywirusowym działającym w oparciu o „ciężkiego klienta”. Przedstawiono perspektywy rozwoju oprogramowania tego typu. W części badawczej porównano działanie obu typów programów. Dokonano oceny wpływu oprogramowania antywirusowego na wykorzystanie pamięci RAM, użycie procesora oraz wpływu na szybkość działania systemu i wykrywalności złośliwego oprogramowania przez testowane programy antywirusowe.

The presented article describes issues referring to cloud computing, history of antivirus software, kinds of malicious software and client/cloud antivirus software. The aim of the thesis is comparison of client/cloud antivirus software and standard “fat client” antivirus software. Two “fat client” antiviruses and two client/cloud antiviruses were compared. Influence on system performance and malicious software detection rate were checked during testing. After the research it was possible to draw conclusions about each type of antivirus software.

In the recent years, one can observe the increase in the number of malicious software (malware) samples analyzed by the antivirus companies. One explanation is associated with attacker's antivirus systems hider tactic, which modifies hostile programs form, without changing it functionality. In effect, the first step of analysis is associated with the check if a given sample is a new threat or modification of existing. Very often such simple test can be performed automatically by dedicated information system. Paper describes information system, which allows dynamic analysis of malicious sample. Presented system was developed and deployed in the Institute of Computer Science, Warsaw University of Technology. During performed security research concerning ransomware threats system proves its usefulness. Additionally, the system become a knowledge base of known malware recently analyzed by our security team.

Celem artykułu jest omówienie ochrony antywirusowej w korporacji. Zadaniem tej ochrony ma być zabezpieczenie użytkowników komputerów i systemów informatycznych IT oraz systemów produkcyjnych przed złośliwym oprogramowaniem i hakerami. Opisano, jak wybierać program antywirusowy, oraz wskazano najszybszą ścieżkę wdrożenia takiego oprogramowania. Omówiono narzędzie, które pozwala utrzymać bezpieczeństwo sieci firmowej lub korporacyjnej na wysokim poziomie niezawodnościowym. Zaproponowano metodę ułatwiającą wdrożenie systemu przy uwzględnieniu zasad grup dostępnych w usłudze katalogowej Active Directory Domain Services.

The aim of the study is to discuss the corporate anti-virus protection. The purpose of this protection is to protect the users of computers and information systems, IT and production systems from malicious software and hackers. Method of making a choice of anti-virus program and a description of the quickest path software implementation of such software are explained in this article. Description of tools that allows you to maintain the security of the corporate network or enterprise at the level high of reliability, was also included. The method facilitates the implementation of the system, taking into account the principles of groups available in the Active Directory Domain Services has also been presented.
