Optimisation method of port parameters and its application for design of the newly built outer harbour in Świnoujście

This article presents a new method of optimising the port layout and parameters. The method has been used for the determination of dimensions of the outer harbour in Świnoujście, where an LNG discharging terminal is to be built. The method consists in a multi-aspect analysis of actual variants of the terminal location and the optimisation of parameters for the best location variant. The herein presented method of the optimisation of the layout and parameters of ports has been specificaIly worked out by this author to define the dimensions the outer harbour in Świnoujście, where an LNG discharge terminal is being planned. The newly-developed method consists of the following steps: - analysis of actual variants of the location of the harbour by using selected criteria for the comparison of the variants. The analysis allows for the choice of the best location variant; - optimisation of the harbour parameters (the best location variant) with the use of purpose-made three-stage simulation method of optimisation.

W artykule zaprezentowano nową metodę optymalizacji kształtu i parametrów portu. Metodę tą zastosowano do zaprojektowania portu zewnętrznego w Świnoujściu, w którym planowana jest lokalizacja stanowisk postojowych dla różnych typów statków. Metoda ta polega na wieloaspektowej analizie realnych wariantów lokalizacji portu oraz na optymalizacji parametrów najkorzystniejszego wariantu lokalizacji. Metoda ta została opracowana przez autora na potrzebę opracowania stanowiska LNG w nowoprojektowanym porcie zewnętrznym w Świnoujściu.
