W artykule przedstawiono metodykę pomiaru natężenia pola elektrycznego przy użyciu opracowanego zestawu pomiarowego. W artykule przedstawiono schemat blokowy zestawu oraz jego ukompletowanie. Przedstawiono przykładowe wyniki pomiarów, które zostały wykorzystane do walidacji stanowiska pomiarowego.

The article presents the methodology for measuring electric field strength using a developed measuring set. The article presents the block diagram of the set and its completing. Sample measurement results were presented, which were used to validate the measuring station.

W artykule omówiono wpływ zmian gęstości i wysokości zabudowy na wartości przewidywanego natężenia pola dla wybranych empirycznych i pół-empirycznych modeli propagacji w środowisku zurbanizowanym. W szczególności porównano metody Ibrahima-Parsonsa, Okumury i Kozono-Watanabe. Zamieszczono przykładowe wyniki symulacji komputerowych. Przedstawiono wnioski, które mogą okazać się użyteczne przy projektowaniu systemów radiokomunikacji lądowej.

The paper addresses the issue of the influence of urbanization density on the results of modeling of electromagnetic field strength for selected empirical and semi-empirical propagation models for urban environments. In particular Ibrahim-Parsons, Okumura and Kozono-Watanabe models have been considered in this respect. All the simulations results presented have been carried out for a digital map (in AutoCAD "dwg"format) of Lodz city center. The map has been used for the calculation of terrain usage characterization, that is land usage factor and degree of urbanization factor for Ibrahim-Parsons model and area factor of occupied buildings for Kozono-Watanabe method. The values of the factors obtained for Lodz show strong similarity to those calculated by Ibrahim and Parsons for London. This suggests that their propagation model is applicable to Lodz and perhaps also some other Polish cities. Okumura's model has very rough and only qualitative ability to characterize terrain usage. Therefore in the paper Kozono-Watanabe method, which is quantitative, is used in combination with Okumura's model to characterize terrain usage. The differences in simulation results of the median field strength obtained with the discussed models were in the order of š10 dB. This difference is meaningful in the design process and therefore the models should be further verified with measurements. This has not been done in the paper because of the lack of suitable experimental data.
