This paper includes findings of the continuous conversion process of fatty acid methyl esters to sodium soaps using the saponification reaction. It has been stated that for the reaction velocity of the 2.0 kg/dm3źh, at 120°C the manufactured products are characterized by light color and they fulfill the requirements of the Polish Standard to Economic Soaps. The process is entirely waste-less and can replace the classic method, used for the fat saponification process in kettles.
