W artykule przedstawiono metodę przybliżonej oceny zmian czasowych temperatury ogniska pożaru w czasie jego wygasania. Zakłada się przy tym, że temperatura wygasającego ogniska jest w przybliżeniu równa temperaturze gazów pożarowych generowanych w tym czasie z tego ogniska. W metodzie tej korzysta się z graficznego modelu pożaru podziemnego H. Bystronia oraz pomiarów stężeń tlenku węgla w powietrzu kopalnianym w sąsiedztwie ogniska pożarowego. Opracowaną metodę zilustrowano na przykładzie wziętym z praktyki górniczej.

The paper presents the method of rough evaluation of time changes of the fire center temperature during its putting down. It is assumed thereat that the temperature of the put down fire center is approximately dual to the temperature of fire gases generated at that time from the center. The method uses graphical model of underground fire proposed by H. Bystroń and measurements of carbon monoxide concentration in the mine air close to the fire center. The developed method was presented in the case study from mining practice.

Przedstawiono metodę przybliżonej oceny temperatury powstającego ogniska pożaru endogenicznego oraz czasu samozapalenia węgla. W metodzie tej korzysta się z modelu Bystronia samozagrzewania się węgla oraz pomiarów stężeń tlenku węgla w powietrzu kopalnianym poza formującym się ogniskiem pożarowym. Zastosowanie przedstawionej metody zilustrowano przykładem wziętym z praktyki górniczej.

Presented here is a method of an approximate assessment of the temperature of endogenous fire hotbed in the making and the time of spontaneous combustion of coal. In this method advantage has been taken of the Bystron's model of self-heating of coal and making measurements of the values of carbon monoxide concentration in the mine air ahead of the fire hotbed in the making. The application of the method has been presented by way of an example taken from the mining practice.
