W artykule przedstawiono wyzwania, przed jakimi stoją przedsiębiorstwa w zakresie „zielo-nej” transformacji, z uwzględnieniem polskiego sektora rolno-spożywczego. Szczególną uwa-gę poświęcono barierom w przystosowaniu polskich firm do obecnej polityki klimatycznej UE, nowym wymogom pro-klimatycznym dla przedsiębiorstw, w tym liczeniu śladu węglowego oraz koniecznym działaniom instytucjonalnym wspierającym transformację energetyczną. Polskie firmy sektora rolno-spożywczego w nadchodzących latach będą konkurować nie tylko jakością produktów i ceną, lecz także poziomem spełnienia wymogów pro-klimatycznych. W przypadku braku podjęcia działań dotyczących transformacji energetycznej, w tym braku „zielonych” inwestycji, muszą liczyć się z wyższymi kosztami produkcji, a nawet z wypadnięciem z rynku. Biorąc pod uwagę rynkowy popyt na „zielone” produkty, nowe regulacje prawne, wsparcie ze środków publicznych i prywatnych uzależnione od wskaźników klimatycznych oraz zmianę postaw konsumentów, należy stwierdzić, że firmy – przynajmniej w perspektywie średnio i długookresowej – będą zmuszone do zmiany swoich modeli biznesowych i uwzględ-nienia kwestii klimatycznych w strategiach rozwoju.

This article presents the challenges faced by enterprises in the field of "green" transformation, including the Polish agri-food sector. Particular attention was paid to barriers in the adaptation of Polish companies to the current EU climate policy, new pro-climate requirements for enterprises, including calculating of the carbon footprint, and the necessary institutional measures supporting the energy transformation. In the coming years, Polish companies from the agri-food sector will compete not only in terms of the quality of products and prices, but also in terms of meeting pro-climate require-ments. If no action is taken regarding the energy transformation, they can expect higher pro-duction costs, and even falling out of the market in the absence of "green" investments. Taking into account the market demand for "green" products, new legal regulations, support from public and private funds dependent on climate indicators and the change in consumer atti-tudes, it should be stated that companies – at least in the medium and long term – will be forced to change their business models and implement climate issues in development strategies.

W artykule przedstawiono sytuację polskiego budownictwa w kontekście polityki klimatycznej oraz wyzwań transformacji gospodarki niskoemisyjnej. Zaprezentowano dane dotyczące emisyjności gospodarki oraz omówiono problemy praktycznego osiągnięcia celów zielonej transformacji. Wskazano też deklaracje środowiskowe wyrobów, jako istotne narzędzie informacji o ich śladzie węglowym.

The article presents the situation of the Polish construction industry in the context of climate policy and the challenges of low emission economy transformation. Data on the emissivity of the economy were presented and the problems of achieving the goals of green transformation in practice were discussed. Environmental product declarations were also introduced as an important tool for information on the carbon footprint of products.

Undoubtedly, each city is an anthropogenic environment filled with multiple human activities and sometimes suffering from limitations resulting from them. In particular, the exacerbating problems of poor air quality pose serious risk to the quality of life in a city. Contemporary cities should be able to successfully face the challenge and stimulate the development of low-emission economy. Low-emission Economy Plan is an instrument addressed to local authorities expected to respond to problems and needs of cities with this respect. This paper compares methodologies of drafting Low-emission Economy Plans and identifies their role in developing contemporary cities. Towns of the Lodz Metropolitan Area have been selected for the case study as cities with industrial heritage mostly coping with environmental problems triggered by the stormy growth of textile industry in the 19th and 20th centuries as well as social and economic developments currently taking place in the Lodz Metropolitan Area (in Polish: Łódzki Obszar Metropolitalny).

Głównym celem artykułu jest ocena ryzyka realizacji projektów międzynarodowych na przykładzie Low Carbon Logistics. Realizując cel przeprowadzono analizę ryzyk mogących mieć wpływ na realizację projektu przy pomocy metody delfickiej. Ryzyka zostały wytypowane przez grupę ekspertów wyłonioną spośród uczestników projektu, a więc osób bezpośrednio związanych z projektem, zorientowanych w realiach jego wdrażania i realizacji, co w dużej mierze uwiarygodnia rezultaty analizy. Opracowane grupy ryzyk kolejnej ocenie dzięki której wyłoniono spośród nich te, które według szacunku mają zarówno duży wpływ na powodzenie przedsięwzięcia, jak i wysokie prawdopodobieństwo wystąpienia. Działania te pozwoliły na wykonanie macierzy ryzyka dla wewnętrznej oceny projektu Low Carbon Logistics.

The main purpose of the article is to assess the risk of international projects on the Low Carbon Logistics example. In accomplishing the goal, an analysis of the risks could have an impact on the project implementation. The risks were selected by a group of experts chosen from participants of the project. People opinion directly related to the project, oriented in the realities of its implementation largely validates the results of the analysis. In the next step identified risk groups were developed for the next assessment,. Thanks to that authors select those of them which, have a large impact on the success of the project and a high probability of occurrence. These activities enabled the creation of a risk matrix for the internal assessment of the Low Carbon Logistics project.

Krajowy cel w zakresie oszczędnego gospodarowania energią zawarty w ustawie o efektywności energetycznej implementuje wskazania zapisane w Dyrektywie 2006/32/WE z dnia 5 kwietnia 2006 r. Zadania w zakresie racjonalizacji zużycia paliw i energii wraz z poprawą efektywności energetycznej skierowane do jednostek sektora publicznego i wdrożenie w przedsiębiorstwach energetycznych systemu białych certyfikatów, pozwolą uzyskać do 2016 r. zmniejszenie o 9% średniorocznego krajowego zużycia energii finalnej. Promowanie przedsięwzięć poprawiających efektywność energetyczną służy rozwojowi zrównoważonej gospodarki niskoemisyjnej. Osiągnięcie tego celu w istotnej mierze zredukuje bieżące emisje gazów cieplarnianych oraz zmniejszy krajowe zapotrzebowanie na paliwa pierwotne z zasobów nieodnawialnych.

The national aim in range of the economical manage of energy, which is included in the law on the energy efficiency, has the indications which are in Directive 2006/32/WE from the 5tth April 2006. The assignments in sphere of rationalization of fuel and the energy using together with the improvement of energy efficiency aimed at units of public sector and implementation of the system of white certificates in electric power enterprises makes possible to decrease by 9% of national medium-year's consumption of final energy. Promotion of the undertakings that improve the energy efficiency serves a purpose for development of the balanced low-emission economy. The accomplishment of that aim will reduce in considerable way the actual emission of the greenhouse gases and will also decrease the national demand for primary fuels from nonrenewabIe stocks.
