A large body of research shows the increasing numbers of drones attacks despite RF jammer systems and other technologies. This incredible increase in drone attacks means that the existing solutions are not enough to stop it. The objective of the article is to present a study on the combination of a laser beam with an optical focusing system to create a new cannon to crush rogue drones. The experimental method relies on an innovative design incorporating a laser module and groups of optical lenses to focus the power in one point to carbonize any target. Specifically, it is the laser with an adjustable lens position from 477mm to 617mm to focus the laser beam on the desired distant object. We measured the necessary time to burnt acrylic plastic, wood, and hard carton from a distance of 55 metres. It was noticed that the laser efficiency is proportional to the laser power and time the cannon is turned on. Tests on the laser cannon revealed that laser burner technology can destroy illegal drones. However, it was found that the laser is affected by adverse weather conditions, such as fog, rain, and clouds. Apart from that, the frailty of this technique is connected with the stabilizing system requirements, energy, overheating, and the time needed to destroy an object. Regardless of the drawbacks of the technique, the laser is the only solution with high efficiency that can ruin or intercept autonomously programmed drones, as this cannot be achieved by the RF jammer or any other solutions. The procedure can be repeated with new changeables to achieve a postive result, specifically, the use CO2 laser tube with a high-efficiency chiller to increase the laser power.

Rapid development in the high-power laser technology poses new requirements on the thermal protective materials. Military laser applications have been characterized and the examples have been presented. Existing materials, which may be used as a protection against high-energy laser beam, have been discussed. Several concepts of the new thermal barrier materials have been proposed. The proposals include multilayer structures, porous materials, systems with phase change materials (PCMs), and systems with various thermal contact resistance for different contact pairs. Comparative study based on numerical simulation results has been performed to assess efficiency of each proposal. Three major candidate technologies were considered: the CO2 laser, the HF/DF chemical laser, and the Nd-glass solid-state laser. The CO2 combustion driven gas laser was built in mid-seventies. Its power was 500 kW with the poor beam quality. In the context of thermal protection against laser, high conductive material component in a complex structure might be especially useful, since irradiated surface is usually limited to a small size.

Wielkie koncerny produkujące broń nie chcą ujawniać rozwiązań stosowanych w nowoczesnej broni. Zawsze lepiej dysponować nowym, czym można zaskoczyć przeciwnika na polu walki. Można jedynie snuć przypuszczenia, jakie produkty znajdą się na rynku za kilka lat. Nowoczesna broń i amunicja będzie niezwykle niebezpiecznym dla przeciwnika rodzajem broni. Nowe typy broni i amunicji spowodują zrnianę strategii i taktyki na polu bitwy. Staną się przyczyną nowego podejścia i wyznaczą nowe trendy w uzbrojeniu. Na razie takiej broni jeszcze nie ma, a przed naukowcami, którzy nad nią pracują, stoi kilka poważnych wyzwań. Laser jako broń energetyczna jesl mało rozpowszechniony. Powoli w roli broni jest już jednak instalowany na platformach powietrznych, na ciężarówkach i w broni indywidualnej.

Advance in the technology of high-energy lasers allows to use their to construction a new type of weapons. Technical development of new warfighting capabilities-everyfighting from ironclad warships, to heavier-than-air aircraft, to tanks, radar and radar-defeating "stealtlh" - has proceeded faster than military forces can adopt their warfighting opproaches to incorporae the full advantage of the capability. Very big companies, which have produced weapons and ammunition don't want to reveal owned solutions used by them in modern weapons. It is always better to have some news, which one can surprise an enemy on the battlefield. We can only suppose what products will exist on our market for a few years. Modern weapons and ammunition will be an incredible dangerous kind of weapon for enemy. New type of weapons and ammunition will cause changes of strategy and tactic on the battlefield. iIt will be a reason for a new approach and will assign new trends in armaments. As yet this kind of weapon is still in development by scientists. Laser like energetic weapon is not famous yet but it's sometimes installed on air platforma, on lorry and in individual weapons.

Scientific and research potential allows introducing cluster energetic weapon and its most technically advanced forms into the armed forces’ armament. The means to carry this kind of weapon may be combat satellites (space platforms), aircraft, helicopters, UAVs, rockets, bombs, artillery ammunition, grenades and also army mobile vehicles, vessels and submarines. Cluster weapon charges, using the electromagnetic impulse, are a selective weapon enabling to destroy or temporarily switch off electrical or electronic devices. All the more so as almost all computer and communication systems that create the basis of a state and military infrastructure are based on conductors and circuits that are sensitive to electromagnetic impulse. It destroys, damages or turns off electrical and electronic equipment on a relatively large area as compared with fragmentation bombs. Therefore cluster weapon is often treated as mass destruction weapon of electrical and electronic objects. It is expected that the importance of cluster weapon will grow.
