Przewozy międzyaglomeracyjne w Polsce realizowane są transportem autobusowym, kolejowym i lotniczym oraz przy wykorzystaniu samochodów osobowych. Wybór jednego z tych środków zaspokajania potrzeb transportowych determinowany jest przede wszystkim dostępnością geograficzną oraz czasem i kosztem podróży. W artykule przedstawiono wyniki badań dotyczące tych czynników w połączeniach Warszawy z głównymi aglomeracjami Polski.

The article answers to a question how long time will take to ride and what its cost will be on chosen routes, if we decide to travel: by train, bus, passenger cars or plane. In the article a current communication situation in Poland regarding connections by means of public transport from Warsaw to major Polish cities was discussed. At present in rail services Tanie Linie Kolejowe (TLK), Inter City (IC) and Inter Regio (IR) compete against each other. In bus transports : PKS, Polski Bus, Polbus, Polonus, Neobuscompete against each other. In rail services the competition was slightly strengthen in the middle of December of last year by implementing ninePrendolino trains which run between Warsaw and Cracow, Katowice, Tricity and Wrocław. Also air carriers – PLL the Flight and Ryanair compete with them.
