The paper presents the results of research carried out in one of the domestic companies producing rubber and plastics products for the automotive industry. The results of the evaluation of the quality control function during production of the low pressure hoses and the characteristics of the main machine taking part in this production process are presented. An analysis of the results of the evaluation of factors influencing the quality of production is presented and guidelines for improving this production process are presented. One of the proposed solutions for improvement is the modernization of the machine park and introduction of production nests.

Celem artykułu jest analiza i ocena procesu poprawy jakości obsługi administracyjnej na przykładzie dziekanatu Wydziału Zarządzania Politechniki Białostockiej. W artykule Autorki zwracają uwagę na potrzebę doskonalenia organizacyjnego uczelni i wskazują dobrą praktykę wdrożenia sformalizowanego Systemu Zarządzania Jakością według normy ISO 9001. Z przeprowadzonej w artykule analizy wynika, że System Zarządzania Jakością usług administracyjnych jest skutecznym narzędziem poprawy pracy w dziekanacie. Opisany przykład zarządzania jakością w administracyjnym obszarze uczelni może być inspiracją dla innych tego typu jednostek.

The aim of this article is to analyze and evaluate the process of improvement of the quality of administrative services on the example of Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Management University of Bialystok. In the article authors points out the need for the organizational improvement of the university and indicate good practice to implement a formalized quality management system according to ISO 9001. Analysis carried out in the article shows that the system of quality management of administrative services is an effective tool for improving work in the Dean's Office. The described example of quality management in the administrative area of the university can be an inspiration to other such units.

W artykule przedstawiono studium przypadku działalności wybranego przedsiębiorstwa branży krawieckiej w obszarze logistyki zaopatrzenia. Celem artykułu była analiza realizowanych przez przedsiębiorstwo procesów zaopatrzenia oraz wskazanie metod usprawnień w wybranych obszarach. Analizę przeprowadzono w układzie: podmiot na tle branży, charakterystyka procesu zaopatrzenia badanej firmy, planowanie potrzeb materiałowych, zapasy, wybór dostawców, proces zamawiania i realizacji dostawy oraz zmiany sposobu realizacji procesu zaopatrzenia w firmie. Zaproponowano usprawnienia poprzez zastosowanie metody ABC oraz zmiany w sposobie pozyskiwania materiałów do produkcji. Pierwszy zaproponowany wariant zakładał ograniczenie zakupów dokonywanych indywidualnie na rzecz zakupów za pośrednictwem sklepów on-line, gdzie oprócz korzyści związanych z oszczędnością czasu i środków finansowych zwiększyłaby się liczba potencjalnych sprzedawców. Drugi wariant sugerował skorzystanie z branżowej platformy wspomagania handlu, na której spotykają się sprzedający i kupujący. Całość zakończono wnioskami.

The article presents a case study of the selected company's activity from tailoring sector in the area of supply logistics. The aim of the article was the analysis of the company's supply processes and identification of methods for improvement in some areas. The analysis was performed in the system: the company against the industry, the characteristics of supply process in examined company , material requirements planning, inventory, choose their suppliers, the process of ordering and delivery and changes in the supply process in the company. Improvements by using of the ABC method and changing ways of actions in the method of obtaining materials for production have been proposed . The first proposed option supposed limiting purchases made individually for shopping through online stores, where in addition to the benefits of saving time and financial resources the number of potential sellers will increase. The second option suggested using of the platform supporting the industry trade which meet the seller and the buyer. The whole was completed with conclusions.

There is presented the IS&RDSS application to the reliability of the improved exemplary complex technical system prediction. There are considered three ways of the exemplary system reliability improvement, a hot single reservation of its components, a cold single reservation of its components and replacing its components by the improved components with reduced intensities of departure from the reliability state subsets. The evaluations of this ways improved exemplary system unconditional multistate reliability function, the expected values and the standard deviations of its unconditional lifetimes in the reliability state subsets and the mean values of its lifetimes in the particular reliability states are performed. Moreover, in the case when the improved system is repairable, its renewal and availability characteristics are estimated.
