Influence of selected abiotic factors on pedofauna of different habitat s situated near traffic route in Krakow

The researches were carried out along one of the most important traffic routes in Krakow in the years 2006 and 2007. Four places were chosen: 1 - the lawn situated c1ose to Konopnicka Street, 2 - the bush-covered area near the Vistula river, - about 30 m nom the thoroughfares, 3 - the lawn situated under Grunwaldzki bridge, 4 - the tree-covered area dividing two lanes of the road on Dietla Planty. The saI1lples of the soil were collected nom l m2 plots and the soil fauna was isolated. Simultaneously temperature, humidity and pH of the soil as well as the content of selected heavy metals were determined. Observations were as follow: grass habitat (1) is characterized by the smallest humidity of the soil, the highest soil temperature and the lowest levels of Cd, Ni, Pb, Zn. On the bush-covered area (2) the soil moisture was the highest (almost twice higher than on the lawn), the density of the pedofauna the highest (more than four times higher than in September in the soil of the lane), the levels of Cd, Pb, Ni and Zn were law. At stand 3, where the lowest differentiation and density of both pedofauna and Diptera larvae were recorded, high concentrations of Cd, Ni and Zn were found.

Badania prowadzono wzdłuż jednego z głównych traktów komunikacyjnych w Krakowie w latach 2006 i 2007. Wybrano 4 stanowiska: 1 - trawnik tuż przy ulicy Konopnickiej, 2 - teren zakrzewiony przy Wiśle, oddalony ok. 30 m od jezdni, 3 - trawnik przy deptaku spacerowym nad Wisłą pod Mostem Grunwaldzkim, 4 - teren zadrzewiony rozdzielający 2 pasy jezdni na Plantach dietlowskich. Na każdym pobierano próbki glebowe z powierzchni 1m2. Jednocześnie oznaczono temperaturę, pH, wilgotność oraz wybrane metale ciężkie. Stwierdzono, że: - siedlisko trawiaste (1) charakteryzuje najmniejsza wilgotność gleby, największa temperatura, jednocześnie najmniejsze ilości Cd, Ni , Pb i Zn. - w terenie zakrzewionym (2) wilgotność gleby była największa, niemal dwukrotnie większa niż na trawniku (1), zagęszczenie pedofauny największe niemal czterokrotnie większe we wrześniu niż w glebie trawnika, zawartość Cd, Pb, Ni i Zn należała do najmniejszych. - na stanowisku 3, gdzie odnotowano najmniejsze zróżnicowanie i zagęszczenie pedofauny i larw muchówek Diptera, stwierdzono dużą koncentrację Cd, Ni i Zn.
