The work treats about problem of change of the shape of the tooth in timing belt on the arch of contact of the timing pulley. Nonlinear properties of material cause change of shape of the tooth in timing belt after first cycles. The change of shape of the tooth caused by cramping depend on the timing pulley diameter. Fitting of tooth shape into timing pulley space depends on belt's support. Appropriate recognition of such phenomena will positively influence meshing of timing belt with timing pulley.
