W artykule przedstawiono wyniki badań eksperymentalnych nad zwiększeniem efektywności pracy i obniżeniem poziomu emisji związków toksycznych silnikow z zapłonem samoczynnym. Warunkiem otrzymania takich parametrow jest zastosowanie fumigacji paliwa, polegającej na kontakcie paliwa z katalizatorem heterogenicznym w korpusie wtryskiwacza. Wyniki badań laboratoryjnych i stanowiskowych świadczą o perspektywach zastosowania wybranego kierunku.

In the paper were presented some results of experimental works on increasing of effective and lowering of toxic parameters in Diesel engines. Possibility of receipt of this factors is using of fuel fumigation - as contact fuel with catalytic materials in a body of fuel injectors. The results of experimental works conferment of perspective this idea.

In the article one introduced the problems of the selection of diesel engines injector nozzles parameters and limitations of the pressure of the fuel injection. One talked over conditioning being with the stimulator of their systematical height. The methods of the selection guilty so to embrace, except the selection of constructional parameters , also the selection taking into account concurrent occurrences, for example the pressure and the speed of injected fuel or the stress distribution. One executed analyses of restrictive factors of the endeavour to the further lifting of maximum values of the pressure of the fuel injection. In the recapitulation one underlined important of the problem and his participation on the future development diesel engines.

W artykule przedstawiono problematykę ograniczeń dotyczących ciśnienia wtrysku paliwa w silnikach o zapłonie samoczynnym. Omowiono uwarunkowania będące stymulatorem ich systematycznego wzrostu. Przedstawiono nowekonstrukcje wtryskiwaczy paliwa. Dokonano analizy czynnikow ograniczających dążenia do dalszego podnoszenia maksymalnych wartości ciśnienia wtrysku paliwa. W podsumowaniu podkreślono wagę problemu i jego udział w przyszłościowym rozwoju silnikow spalinowych.
