Interim management to czasowa, sprecyzowana co do celu i zakresu usługa zarządzania świadczona przez zewnętrznego interim managera o odpowiednim profilu zawodowym, nakierowana na osiągnięcie w organizacji uzgodnionych rezultatów biznesowych, która jest oparta na współpracy interim managera z organizacją oraz jego partycypacji w ryzyku i zysku co do zamierzonego efektu. Celem artykułu jest określenie roli zjawiska interim management na polskim rynku na tle doświadczeń z rynków Europy Zachodniej. Opierając się na analizie naukowej i badaniach rynkowych w artykule wykazano, że usługi interim management stanowią efektywne rozwiązanie zarządcze w organizacjach biznesowych w Europie, a dotychczasowa niewielka skala wykorzystywania interim managerów przez organizacje biznesowe działające na polskim rynku wynika głównie z mentalności decydentów.

Interim management is the temporary, clarified as to the purpose and scope of the management service provided by an external interim manager of the appropriate professional profile, aimed at the achievement of agreed outcomes in the organization of business, which is based on cooperation interim manager of the organization and its participation in the risk and benefit to the desired effect. The purpose of this article is to define the role of interim management phenomena on the Polish market against the background of the experience of Western European markets. Based on the analysis of scientific literature and market research demonstrated in the article that the interim management services are an effective solution management in business organizations in Europe and existing small scale use of interim managers by business organizations operating on the Polish market mainly due to the mentality of decision-makers.

Architecture is a complex discipline, and works of architecture are diverse and constantly changing. Therefore, it is difficult to determine the range and essence of architecture and create a definition. This paper analyses the problem with definitions of architecture on the basis of semantics, aesthetics, and metaphysics. It considers the question of identity and essence, and the cause, purpose and consequence of defining.

Architektura jest złożoną i szeroką dyscypliną, a dzieła architektury są różnorodne i podlegają ciągłym przemianom. Dlatego trudno ustalić zarówno jej zakres jak i istotę, trudno o jej definicję. Artykuł analizuje problem definicji architektury na tle semantyki, estetyki i metafizyki. Rozważana jest kwestia tożsamości i istoty pojęcia, przyczyna i cel powstawania definicji oraz sens definiowania i jego wpływ na architekturę.

W pracy przedstawiono wyniki badań dotyczące wpływu wstępnej obróbki ultradźwiękowej na proces destylacji olejków eterycznych z nasion kminku zwyczajnego. Badania przeprowadzono w dwóch wariantach. W pierwszym procesowi destylacji poddano całe nasiona, zaś w drugim nasiona rozdrobnione. Do generowania ultradźwięków wykorzystano procesor ultradźwiękowy (Sonic VC 750) z głowicą o średnicy 19 mm, pracujący z częstotliwością 20 kHz. Zastosowano następujące parametry wstępnej sonifikacji nasion: czas obróbki od 20 do 60 minut, natężenie ultradźwięków: 28 i 42 W·cm-2. Stwierdzono, że wstępna obróbka ultradźwiękowa nasion kminku znacząco przyśpiesza tempo pozyskiwania olejków oraz zwiększa końcową wydajność procesu. W zależności od czasu i natężenia ultradźwięków zanotowano wzrost wydajności od 9 do 40%. Zaobserwowano także istotny wpływ rozdrobnienia nasion na kinetykę procesu destylacji.

The paper presents research results concerning the influence of ultrasound pre-treatment on the process of distillation of essence from caraway seeds. Tests were carried out in two variants. In the first one, whole seeds were subjected to distillation process, and in the second one ground seeds. An ultrasound processor (Sonic VC 750) with a head of 19 mm diameter operating with frequency 20 kHz was used for generating ultrasounds. The following parameters of initial sonification of seeds were applied: treatment time from 20 to 60 minutes, intensity of ultrasounds: 28 and 42 W·cm-2. It was found out that the initial ultrasound treatment of caraway considerably speeds up the rate of obtaining essence and increases the final efficiency of the process. Depending on the time and intensity of ultrasounds the increase of efficiency from 9 to 40% was reported. Moreover, a significant impact of seeds fragmentation on the kinetics of the distillation process was reported.

Detalu architektonicznego nie można oceniać w oderwaniu od całości budynku. Detal zwiastuje ducha całego dzieła. Detal nie ma nic wspólnego z rozmiarem. W tak zwanej architekturze minimalistycznej detal stał się nawet ważniejszy wraz ze skrajnym ograniczeniem środków wyrazu.

Architectural details cannot be assessed separately from the whole building. It heralds the spirit of the entire work. Detail has nothing to do with size. In so-called minimalistic architecture, the detail has become even more important as the means of expression and beauty are extremely limited.
