Method of Calculating a Salary Bonus Based on Performance, Quality of Labour, Difficulty of Work, Discipline and Attendance in a Clothing Company

Globally, textile and clothing companies are seeking to increase the export rate by minimising the cost of production. The same goal still applies for Tunisian companies. Nonetheless, production cost is the most but not the only significant factor that increases the competitiveness of a product. Others are important in beating the challenge of global competition. Among these factors are deadlines, economic and social stability, proximity, competence of the workforce and quality. In this study, the SAW method was used to develop a method for the calculation of a salary bonus according to the following criteria: the quality index, performance, difficulty of work, discipline, and attendance. This method improved the skills and wages of the workforce, decreased the absenteeism rate and increased the productivity of the company. The results showed in dependence on the case studied that the quality index varied between-0.053 and 1, performance between 40.5 and 81, the ranking vector between 0.545 and 0.911, and the bonus rate between 0% and 15%. The study reduced the absenteeism rate from 13.25% to 8.3% for direct labour. The quality of production was improved by reducing the defect rate by 8.54% to 4.6%. The efficiency of the chain was also improved by 51% to 67.3%.

W przyszłości prawie wszystkie techniczne poczynania w zakresie geodezji i kartografii będą podporządkowane systemom informacji przestrzennej. W artykule podjęto próbę przedstawienia wybranych problemów naukowo-badawczych, które realizowano na potrzeby gospodarki i administracji publicznej i przez sylwetki niektórych profesorów, którzy wnieśli znaczący wkład zarówno do rozwoju teorii i technologii, jak i do organizacji badań oraz nauczania w zakresie geodezji i kartografii. Przedstawiono wybrane, ważniejsze osiągnięcia z różnych okresów rozwoju badań i technologii w zakresie geodezji i kartografii.

The scientific discipline of geodesy and cartography is in a period of profound changes. The impact of technologies related to spatial information is still growing. In the future, almost all technical activities in the field of geodesy and cartography will depend on spatial information systems. The article attempts to present selected scientific and research problems that were implemented for the needs of the economy and public administration and by the profiles of professors who contributed significantly to the development of theory and technology as well as to the organization of research and teaching in the field of geodesy and cartography. Selected, significant achievements from different periods of research and technology development in the field of geodesy and cartography were presented.

The Duality of Classical Intersection and Union Types

For a long time, intersection types have been admired for their surprising ability to complete the simply typed lambda calculus. Intersection types are an example of an implicit typing feature which can describe program behavior without manifesting itself within the syntax of a program. Dual to intersections, union types are another implicit typing feature which extends the completeness property of intersection types in the lambda calculus to full-fledged programming languages. However, the formalization of union types can easily break other desirable meta-theoretical properties of the type system. But why should unions be troublesome when their dual, intersections, are not? We look at the issues surrounding the design of type systems for both intersection and union types through the lens of duality by formalizing them within the symmetric language of the classical sequent calculus. In order to formulate type systems which have all of our properties of interest—soundness, completeness, and type safety—we also look at the impact of evaluation strategy on typing. As a result, we present two dual type systems—one for call-by-value and one for call-by-name evaluation—which have all three properties. We also consider the possibility of classical non-deterministic evaluation, for which there is a choice between two different systems depending on which properties are desired: a full type system which is complete, and a simplified type system which is sound and type safe.

Skuteczność procesów komunikacyjnych i przepływu informacji uwarunkowana jest umiejętnością skoncentrowania działań zarządczych na relacjach spajających łańcuch wartości organizacji w całość. Jest to tym ważniejsze, im wyższy jest stopień złożoności podmiotu. Strategicznym celem nadrzędnym staje się stworzenie takiej struktury organizacyjnej, aby przez poprawę współdziałania poszczególnych funkcji móc dostarczać dodatkową wartość, przy czym „wartość” rozumiana jest wyłącznie przez pryzmat postrzegania klientów. W tym kontekście zarządzanie relacjami z klientem (CRM - Customer Relationship Management), interpretowane jako świadomy proces uzyskiwania długookresowej równowagi między wszystkimi aspektami zarządzania które mają na celu zaspokojenie potrzeb klientów, a inwestycjami organizacji, wymusza nie tylko implementację rozwiązań wspierających nabywanie i analizowanie wiedzy o kliencie, ale również sukcesywne polepszanie wyników organizacji dzięki wykorzystaniu zdobytej wiedzy. Jednocześnie tak rozumiany CRM tworzy podstawę tworzenia długookresowej strategii rozwoju organizacji. W opracowaniu przedstawiono składowe skutecznego CRM w obrocie gazem, możliwy wpływ poszczególnych składowych na skuteczność realizowanych procesów komunikacyjnych, oraz wybrane uwarunkowania implementacji postulowanych rozwiązań.

The effectiveness of communication processes and information flow depends on the ability to focus management activities on the relations that bond organization’s value chain together. This is all the more important, the higher is the complexity of the organization. The major strategic goal becomes to create such an organizational structure that, by improving cooperation by the various functions, can provide additional value, and the "value" is understood only through the prism of customers’ perception. In this context, customer relationship management (CRM), interpreted as a conscious process of obtaining long-term balance between all aspects of management that are designed to meet the needs of customers, and investments, forces not only to implement solutions that support the acquisition and analysis of customer’s behavior but also progressively improve organizational performance through the use of that knowledge . At the same time CRM forms the basis for the creation of long-term development strategy of the organization. The paper presents the components of an effective CRM in gas trading , the impact of individual components on the effectiveness of communication processes and conditions of implementing postulated solutions.

Aktualnie w środowisku naukowym toczy się dyskusja nad porządkowaniem klasyfikacji nauki. Praca niniejsza stanowi głos w tej dyskusji. Na przykładzie inżynierii rolniczej autor podaje kryteria przynależności, opowiadając się za jej miejscem w obrębie nauk rolniczych. Jednak za w pełni uzasadnione uważa likwidację dziedzin i pozostawieniu na najwyższym szczeblu dyscyplin.

Currently, a discussion is held in scientific environment on organising the classification of science. This work constitutes an opinion in that issue. Using the example of agricultural engineering, the author specifies assignment criteria, being in favour of its place within agricultural sciences. However, the author considers it fully justified to eliminate fields and to leave disciplines at highest level.

Na tle wprowadzanych zmian w Ustawach dotyczących szkolnictwa wyższego i nauki oraz stopni naukowych zrodziło się szereg wątpliwości w znacznym stopniu utrudniających prawidłowe przeprowadzanie przewodów na stopnie i tytuły naukowe. Sprawę dodatkowo skomplikowały nieprecyzyjnie przygotowane przez Ministerstwa akty wykonawcze do wspomnianych ustaw. Stąd też w pracy przedstawiono interpretację i praktyczne wskaźniki pomocnicze w prawidłowym przeprowadzeniu przewodów. Równocześnie artykuł zawiera nową kwalifikację nauki.

The changes introduced in the higher education and science and scientific degree Acts rose a numerous doubts, hindering to a great extent proper proceedings to qualify for scientific degrees and titles. The problem was complicated even more by the execution acts to the said laws imprecisely drawn up by the Ministries. Hence the paper presents interpretation and practical guidelines to proper conducting of the proceedings. At the same time the article includes a new qualification of the science.

W obrębie nowopowstałej dziedziny autor umieszcza jako dyscyplinę dotychczasową inżynierię rolniczą z równoczesną propozycją przemianowania jej na agroinżynierię.

Works on development of a new concept regarding division of science are advanced now. A team selected by Section III proposes to combine few currently existing fields in one that would include the whole of natural science. Author includes current agricultural engineering as a discipline within the scope of newly established division and at the same time the proposes to rename it to agro-engineering.
