Content available remote Inequalities for second-order Riesz transforms associated with Bessel expansions
EN
The paper contains the proofs of Lp, logarithmic and weak-type estimates for the second-order Riesz transforms arising in the context of multidimensional Bessel expansions. Using a novel probabilistic approach, which rests on martingale methods and the representation of Riesz transforms via associated Bessel-heat processes, we show that these estimates hold with constants independent of the dimension.

In this work we define a new operator using the extended generalized Sălăgean operator and extended Ruscheweyh operator. Denote by DRm,nλ the Hadamard product of the extended generalized Sălăgean operator Dmλ and extended Ruscheweyh operator Rn, given by DRm,nλ : [...] is the class of normalized analytic functions with [...]. The purpose of this paper is to introduce sufficient conditions for strong differential subordination and strong differential superordination involving the operator DRm,nλ and also to obtain sandwich-type results.

Let α∈[0,1] be a fixed parameter. We show that for any nonnegative submartingale X and any semimartingale Y which is α-subordinate to X, we have the sharp estimate [WZÓR]. Here W is the weak-L∞space introduced by Bennett, DeVore and Sharpley. The inequality is already sharp in the context of α-subordinate Itô processes.

In this paper, we obtain some applications of first order differential subordination and superordination results involving certain linear operator and other linear operators for certain normalized analytic functions. Some of our results improve and generalize previously known results.

Content available remote Sharp Weak-Type Inequality for the Haar System, Harmonic Functions and Martingales
EN
Let (hk)k≥0 be the Haar system on [0,1]. We show that for any vectors ak from a separable Hilbert space H and any εk∈[−1,1], k=0,1,2,…, we have the sharp inequality ...[formula], where W([0,1]) is the weak-L∞ space introduced by Bennett, DeVore and Sharpley. The above estimate is generalized to the sharp weak-type bound ∥Y∥W(Ω)≤2∥X∥L∞(Ω), where X and Y stand for H-valued martingales such that Y is differentially subordinate to X. An application to harmonic functions on Euclidean domains is presented.

In this paper, we obtain some subordination and superordination-preserving results of the generalized Srivastava-Attyia operator. Sandwich-type result is also obtained.

In the present paper, we derive some subordination and superordination results for p-valent functions in the open unit disk by using certain fractional derivative operator. Relevant connections of the results, which are presented in the paper, with various known results are also considered.

In the present paper we define a new operator using the generalized Salagean operator and Ruscheweyh operator. Denote by [formula/wzór] the Hadamard product of the generalized Salagean operator [formula/wzór] and Ruscheweyh operator R(n), given by [fomula/wzór] is the class of normalized analytic functions with A1 = A. We study some differential subordinations regarding the operator [formula/wzór].

Content available remote Applications of a first order differential subordination for analytic functions
EN
In the paper, we define classes of analytic functions, in terms of subordination. By using Jack's Lemma and the Briot-Bouquet differential subordination we obtain some inclusion relations for defined classes.
EN
In this paper we apply a fractional differintegral operator to a class of analytic functions and derive certain new sufficient conditions for the starlikeness of this class of functions. The usefulness of the main results are depicted by deducing several interesting corollaries and relevances with some of the earlier results are also pointed out.

The paper is devoted to sharp inequalities between moments of nonnegative supermartingales and their strong subordinates. Analogous estimates hold true for stochastic integrals with respect to a nonnegative right-continuous supermartingale. Similar inequalities are established for smooth functions on Euclidean domains.

By using a certain operator D(n), we introduce a class of holomorphic functions Mn(h), h convex function, and we obtain some subordination results. We also show that, for h(z) ≡ α, 0 ≤ α < 1 and z ∈ U, the set Mn(α) is convex and we obtain some new differential subordinations related to certain integral operators.

Content available remote Subordinations and superordinations using the Dziok-Srivastava linear operator
EN
By using the properties of the Dziok-Srivastava linear operator we obtain differential subordinations and superordinations by using functions from class A. A sandwich-type result is also given. Theorem 1 from the paper gives sufficient conditions such that a function f ∈ A to be starlike, convex and α-convex.

In the present paper we define a new operator using the Salagean and Ruscheweyh operators. Denote by L(m)(α) the operator given by [wzór], where R(m)f(z) denote the Ruscheweyh derivative, S(m)f(z) is the Salagean operator and [wzór] is the class of normalized analytic functions. A certain subclass, denoted by [wzór], of analytic functions in the open unit disc is introduced by means of the new operator. By making use of the concept of differential subordination we will derive various properties and characteristics of the class [wzór]. Also, several differential subordinations are established regardind the operator L(m)(α).

By using the integral operator I(m) f, we introduce a class of holomorphic functions denoted by J(m)(α) and we obtain some superordinations results related to this class.

The results, which are presented in this paper, have relevant connections with various previous results.

Content available remote On certain subclasses of close-to-convex and
EN
In the present paper, the authors introduce two new subclasses S(sup k) (sub sc) (γ, α β) of close-to-convex functions and C(sup k) (sub sc) (γ, α β) of quasi-convex functions with respect to 2k-symmetric conjugate points. The inclusion and subordination relationships, convolution conditions for these classes are provided. The coefficient inequalities, integral representations and sufficient conditions for functions belonging to these classes are also provided.

Content available remote Sharp norm inequalities for martingales and their differential subordinates
EN
Suppose ƒ = (ƒn), g = (gn) are martingales with respect to the same filtration, satisfying |ƒn-ƒn-i| ≤ |gn -gn-1|, n = 1,2,..., with probability 1. Under some assumptions on ƒo, go and an additional condition that one of the processes is nonnegative, some sharp inequalities between the pth norms of ƒ and g, 0 < p < ∞, are established. As an application, related sharp inequalities for stochastic integrals and harmonic functions are obtained.

Let C denote the compIex pIane and Iet U denote the open unit disk. In this paper the second order nonlinear differential inequalities are investigated. Properties of the function which satisfies such differential inequalities are derived. Some applications in the theory of univalent function are presented.
