Artykuł zawiera analizę wpływu zmian parametrów linii 400 kV na jej możliwości przesyłowe. Autor w pracy wykazał znaczne korzyści stosowania trzech i czterech przewodów na fazę. Proponuje przyjęcie takich rozwiązań w budowie nowych linii, szczególnie wyprowadzających moc z dużych elektrowni, które powinny być przystosowane do przesyłów dużych mocy przy zachowaniu wymaganych warunków stabilności statycznej pracy systemu elektroenergetycznego.

As Poland will preside the EU in 2011, the participants of the debate suggest possible areas of interest which may be addressed during our presidency. thus, we might be able to find effective solutions to some vital problems faced by the Polish electric power industry, such as the integration of energy renewable sources management and carbon emissions management systems. since Poland's presidency will last half a year only, it is necessary to make the most of this short period to promote the research fields we specialize in. with the carbon emission being currently the key issue for the power sector, there are plans to opt for a new emissions allocation plan that would be more beneficial to Poland. Moreover, Poland might focus on the security of electricity supply, namely the prevention of power system blackouts, given the broad knowledge of polish engineers in this area and the increasing number of blackouts worldwide. will last half a year only, it is necessary to make the most of this short period to promote the research fields we specialize in.
