We wszystkich obszarach aktywności twórczej wyobraźnia, jest niezbędnym elementem w życiu i funkcjonowaniu człowieka. W wielu sytuacjach życiowych jest ona nieodłącznym elementem wykorzystywanym w sposób mniej lub bardziej świadomy. Pozwala tworzyć wyobrażenia, które nie mają odpowiedników w żadnym z wrażeń, stanowiąc podstawę twórczości wszelkiej aktywności człowieka. Wyobraźnia jest naturalnym przedłużeniem wzroku, specyficzną zdolnością do wywoływania obrazów, pobudzającą do twórczego myślenia i działania. W dzisiejszych czasach człowiek nieustannie bombardowany jest coraz większą ilością dźwięków i obrazów, które „zagłuszają” naturalny rozwój wyobraźni. Szybki postęp technologiczny, którego jesteśmy świadkami, nie pozostaje bez wpływu na rozwój twórczego myślenia, tworzy bariery ograniczające człowieka.

In all areas of creative activities imagination is an essential element of life and man’s functioning. In many situations in our life it is an inherent element used in many cases more or less consciously. It allows you to create images that have no equivalents in any impressions presenting the basis for creativity and all human activity. Imagination is a natural extension of sight. It is a peculiar ability to form images, encouraging creative reflection and activities of young people. Nowadays a human being is constantly bombarded with an increasing numberof sounds and images, which “choke” the natural evolution of imagination. The fast technological progress, that we witness does not remain without influence on the development of creative thinking, it creates barriers that can restrain a human being.

The paper present the project of system non-routine decision support to optimize the selection of methods to stimulate the user's requirements. The aim is to characterize the different steps of building the system structure. Created database of creative problem solving methods will help to obtain the description of the indicated method. The study highlighted the general assumptions of the system and the criteria for selection of methods. In addition, it underlined the need to change the approach to scientific problems - technical, for which there is no ready-made answers. The methods used have revealed ideas for innovations in different areas. The appropriate stimulation for creating new ideas and solving tasks becomes nowadays indispensable. The developed model is intended to practical use. It will provide guidance to indicate proceedings in a particular situation. Combining them in harmony is a way to go.

The article presents conduct research into in the field of creative methods. The collected material shows that the creative methods and techniques have huge potential. Principles and strategies of creative thinking, they can reinforce a pro-innovative attitude in an organisation and facilitate making optimal decisions. Heuristic methods allow developing creative thinking for the development of an enterprise. Some case studies are presented using the methods typical for studied enterprise. The appropriate stimulation for creating new ideas and solving tasks becomes nowadays indispensable. This type of mobilization allows one to independently create condition for shaping pro-innovative work environment. The choice of more analytical and common sense methods or methods based on intuition and imagination depends on one’s personal abilities. Combining them in harmony is a way to go.

The game of architecture determines the game field for thoughts: with shapes, colours, textures, lights and shadows. It reveals something true just because it is a game. During the game, conceived, imagined world of shapes, is revealed in the presentation. One of the possible ways of architectural thinking referred in the text can be found three types of creative process: intuitive, reflexive and behavioural one. Like a sorcerer casting a spell “let it be”, imagination transforms unreal architecture in a mental fact. Thinking of creative minds enabled to create representations, owning to which outstanding timeless architectural works are implemented in the real world.

Gra architektoniczna wytycza myślom pole rozgrywki: o kształty, kolory, faktury, światła i cienie. Ujawnia coś prawdziwego właśnie dlatego, że to jest gra. Podczas gry, pomyślany, wyobrażony świat kształtów, objawia się w przedstawieniu. Przywołane w tekście jedne z możliwych dróg architektonicznego myślenia można odszukać w trzech typach procesu twórczego: intuicyjnym, refleksyjnym i behawioralnym. Wyobraźnia tak jak czarownik rzucając zaklęcie „niech się stanie” przemienia nierzeczywistą architekturę w myślowy fakt. Myślenie twórczych umysłów pozwoliło stworzyć wyobrażenia, dzięki którym zrealizowane są w realnym świecie wybitne, ponadczasowe dzieła architektoniczne.

The aim of this article is to present the course of a creative session in the studied enterprise with application of techniques and methods of creating innovative solutions. It shall also include presentation of creative thinking conditions, which support the ability of solving complex problems and making optimal decisions. The creative methods and techniques have huge potential. Supported with principles and strategies of creative thinking, they can reinforce a proinnovative attitude in an organisation and facilitate making optimal decisions. Each creative session is unique and all team results obtained during a meeting are valuable. Creative sessions are favourable in terms of development of an enterprise and its employees. Incorporation of new technical and organisational solutions can deliver measurable economic and social advantages. Holding a creative session does not, however, guarantee obtaining practical solutions. A successful session has predetermined time limits and includes information on cost limits. Influence on the effectiveness of decisions are based on creative problem solving tools. They raise the number of obtained interesting ideas and improve their quality. A creative session allows to train methods and techniques of creative problem solving as well as the ability of selecting them depending on the needs.

The main task of a technology teacher in the new, reformed school is to teach children how to make use of constantly changing techniques, to perform activities useful in life, to use different forms of information, which should, as a consequence, result in the change of their behaviour to more mature, more self-dependent and more efficient. The question of developing the creative competence of pupils is the concern of the creativity psychodidactics. In order to be considered "creative" it should be the activity which engages human personality, mobilizes the courage and brings a lot of joy.

Product development depends on the requirements and the environment where the product is to be manufactured and put into use. A problem can be defined by means of rational perception of the problem and the analysis of the natural process and its subordinated substitute, referred to as technical process. Together with problem definition, the functional requirements and axioms, which enable the definition of the course of product development, are being perceived. The paper presents a logical correlation among particular individual activities. A particular emphasis has been placed on the use of the techniques of creative thinking for the purpose of creating a problem definition. By means of the techniques of creative thinking. The problem has been defined, which results in the form of design requirements. The descriptive matrix, de-lining the correlation between design requirements and functions, has been derived. Emphasis has been given to a dynamic search for correlations between descriptive and morphological matrices. Such concept of planning enables the connection from the construction requirements to functions and further on to the working principles. Tests, which the submitted methods have been subject to, have shown the possibility of formalized records.
