Treść publikacji wynika z doświadczenia autora zdobytego podczas pierwszego etapu procesu rewitalizacji Zamku Książąt Mazowieckich w Ciechanowie. Publikacja przypomina XVI-wieczne tło i opisuje jego późniejszą historię. Przedstawia stan prac konserwatorskich oraz stan badań archeologicznych poprzedzających proces rewitalizacji. Przedstawia również przebieg procesu inwestycyjnego i procedurę jego realizacji. Artykuł wskazuje wybrane trudności natury organizacyjnej, technologicznej, finansowej, prawnej/administracyjnej i konserwatorskiej, które pojawiły się w trakcie realizacji, jak również stopień ich złożoności. Ponadto, w pracy podjęto się ewaluacji procesu wdrażania oraz wskazano jego wyniki i potrzebę dalszej kontynuacji prac konserwatorskich.

The content of the publication resulted from the author’s experience gained during the first stage of the revitalization process of Mazovian Dukes Castle in Ciechanów. The publication recalls the background of the 14th century site and describes its later history. It presents the state of restoration works and the state of archeological research preceding the process of revitalization. It also depicts the course of the investor’s action and the procedure of implementation. The publication points to selected difficulties of organizational, technological, financial, legal/administrative, and conservation nature which arose during the implementation and its degree of complexity. Moreover, the publication undertakes to evaluate the status of the implementation process and indicates its results and the need for further continuation of the restoration works.

The article aims at presenting the public communication programme based on civic participation model, which deals with shale gas exploration and extraction, "Together about shale gas". The programme was prepared on the initiative of the Marshal of the Pomorskie Voivodeship and is going to be implemented on the area of three voivodeships of northern Poland. As stated in the article, the programme constitutes an innovative and pioneer undertaking on the Polish ground, which pertains to the issue of public communication and decision-making when implementing controversial infrastructure investments. The first part of the article outlines the challenges that the communication measures will have to face in the area of Pomorskie voivodeship and key actions implemented so far. The next chapter constitutes a sociological diagnosis ofthe situation related to the public reactions to shale gas exploration. Further on the article lists the main assumptions and solutions within the scope of public communication and public conflict management, which form grounds for the "Together about shale gas" programme. The key part of the text presents the most important elements of the programme and how they were implemented.

Biotechnologia jest uważana za jedną z dziedzin, która będzie decydować o prawidłowym rozwoju gospodarki w naszym wieku. Jest niezwykle rozległym obszarem działalności technicznej człowieka, i jej rozwój jest zależny od współdziałania między różnymi dziedzinami nauki i techniki. Znanych jest kilka podziałów biotechnologii, ale chyba najpopularniejszym jest tradycyjny, bazujący na kolorach. Zazwyczaj wymienia się cztery kolory: czerwony, biały, zielony i fioletowy. Istnieje także podział szerszy, wykorzystujący znacznie szerszą gamę barw - nieomal wszystkie barwy tęczy.

Biotechnology is considered as a driving force of progress and simultaneously as a major threat of humanity. Although there several classifications of biotechnology, the one using color code is most popularly used. Most commonly four major colors are considered, namely red, green, white and purple. However classifications using many more colors, nearly all tones of rainbow, also exist.
