Safety of sports mass events in the context of creating a marketing product

Safety as a state that gives a sense of confidence and a guarantee of its maintaining may also act as an element motivating to use a product or service, certainty of use of the product and the certainty of using the service. In the second approach, mass-specific services, including sports services related to the operation of sports clubs, are a service specific in terms of security. The entity providing them should ensure the safety of all its participants, from sportsmen to sports spectators. The aim of the article is to present partial results of research results on the relationship between the sense of safety of sports club fans and active participation in a sports event. The research covered a group of 1127 people surveyed in the first half of 2018 using a direct questionnaire on fans of sports teams and research on secondary sources. The main hypothesis is that a sporting event allows to extend a marketing offer to new segments, enrich the expanded sports product, set new pricing strategies and use promotion only when a viewer has a high sense of security. In this approach, it is security from the point of view of the customer that determines the use of a sports service, but also satisfaction, and, in the future, also loyalty.

W artykule omówiona została logistyka w ratownictwie podczas imprez masowych z uwzględnieniem możliwości dokonania zamachu terrorystycznego, z użyciem środków chemicznych, biologicznych. Ze względu na szeroki zakres wymogów, procedur oraz technik reagowania, w szczególności zwrócono uwagę na przeprowadzanie dekontaminacji osób poszkodowanych oraz neutralizacji skażonego terenu, budynków i sprzętu. Zaprezentowano także typy urządzeń służących do wczesnego wykrywania substancji niebezpiecznych, oraz systemy umożliwiające wyznaczanie stref skażenia. Analizą objęto proces neutralizacji czynników zagrażających życiu, odbywający się w modułach mobilnych stacji dekontaminacyjnych.

The article discusses the logistics of rescue during mass events including the possibility of a terrorist attack using chemical or biological weapons. Due to the wide range of requirements, procedures and response techniques, in particular attention was paid to carry out the decontamination of the victims and neutralization of contaminated land, buildings and equipment. It also presents the types of equipment used for early detection of hazardous substances, and systems that enable determination of zones of contamination. The analysis includes the process of neutralizing the factors threatening the life held in the mobile station modules decontamination.

Artykuł przedstawia wybrane problemy związane z obsługą logistyczną Mistrzostw Europy w Piłce Nożnej UEFA EURO 2012, które odbyły się w Polsce i na Ukrainie. Zarządzanie logistyczne międzynarodową imprezą sportową stanowi nie tylko integralną jej część, ale także warunkuje sprawny jej przebieg. Jednakże, ze względu na obszerność tematu, przedstawione zostały rozwiązania logistyczne odnoszące się głównie do obszaru Polski. W szczególności uwaga została zwrócona na wstępne uwarunkowania organizacji EURO 2012 oraz na zakres podjętych działań logistycznych, stanowiących obszary wsparcia dla przebiegu Mistrzostw. Analizą zostały objęte główne przedsięwzięcia inwestycyjne w zakresie infrastruktury stadionowej i transportowej, a także zakres obsługi transportowej, zapewniającej sprawne i płynne przemieszczenia wszystkim uczestnikom EURO 2012. Obsługa ta obejmuje krajowy transport lądowy, transport lotniczy oraz publiczny transport w miastach gospodarzach. Ponadto, zwrócona została również uwaga na kolejne zadanie logistyczne, związane z zapewnieniem bezpieczeństwa wszystkim uczestnikom Mistrzostw oraz z zapewnieniem porządku jej przebiegu.

This article presents some selected problems associated with logistical support of the 2012 UEFA European Championship held Poland and Ukraine. Logistics management of an international sporting event not only constitutes its integral part, but also determines the smooth course of the event proceedings. However, because of the breadth of the subject, the presentation of logistic solutions has been limited to embrace only the solutions utilized in Poland. In particular, attention has been paid to the initial conditions for the organization of EURO 2012, as well as the scope of logistics activities undertaken to support the course of the Championships. Major investment projects in the field of stadium infrastructure and transport have been analyzed, as well as the range of transport services that ensured the smooth and seamless movement of all participants of EURO 2012. This support included national land transport, air transport and public transport in the host cities. In addition, attention has also been paid to the next logistics task that is the one related to ensuring the safety of all participants and the smooth course of the Championships.

Zbiorowości ludzkie wraz z ich wieloma cechami są obiektami i mogą być traktowane w systemach informacji przestrzennej GIS tak samo jak obiekty infrastruktury lub przyrody. Można je opisywać statycznie lub jako zmienne w czasie, można analizować ich zmienność w relacji do sytuacji lokalnej. Problematyka analizy zmiennej zbiorowości ludzkiej występuje między innymi w czasie imprez masowych, gdzie występują trzy fazy: gromadzenie się ludzi, statyczny udział w imprezie oraz rozproszenie zbiorowości. Faza rozprowadzenia zbiorowości po imprezie masowej jest przedmiotem rozważań logistycznych w niniejszej pracy, z wykorzystaniem narzędzi GIS. Wstępnym zadaniem logistycznym są studia dróg i wyznaczenie korytarza dla potoku pieszych. Zaproponowano cztery sposoby wizualizacji tego potoku: obraz lokalny potoku, obraz w relacji do istniejącej zabudowy w wersji 2D i 3D oraz kompleksowy obraz łączny obejmujący sekwencję kolejnych ulic. Niniejsza praca udowadnia, że system informacji przestrzennej GIS może pełnić podstawową rolę w zapewnieniu bezpieczeństwa ludzkich zbiorowości.

People may be treated in GIS as objects of infrastructure or objects of nature. They may be described as static or time-varying, their variation can be analyzed in relation to the local situation. The problem of their analysis appears, among others, during mass events, where three phases exist: gathering of people, their static participation in the event and their dispersion at the end. From the three above mentioned phases – the dispersion of population is most important. This phase of the population after the event is the subject of logistical considerations in the present study, using GIS tools. The initial task is to study the routes and designate a corridor for the stream of pedestrians. Four ways of the stream visualizing was proposed: a picture of a local stream, picture in relation to existing buildings in 2D and 3D and an integrated picture comprising the sequence of streets. This study shows that GIS can play a useful role in ensuring safety and security.

The article analyzes and evaluates the tasks of the mass events logistics. It presents the definition of the mass events logistics and tasks that result from it. It presents areas of logistics activity, directed at organization and realization of supply deliveries and provision of specialist and economic and living services. The article also describes the mass event logistics system and the tasks of its subsystems. It describes logistics potential analysis and the real ability of infrastructure. The conclusion of the article contains threats to the mass events logistics, which can occur both at the design stage, organizing stage and phase of the course of the mass event.
