Mury obronne, fosy stanowiące fortyfikacje dawnych obiektów historycznych, ale także podziemne bunkry i sztolnie budowane już w czasach współczesnych stanowią elementy infrastruktury, które pominięte w analizie warunków posadowienia nowo projektowanych obiektów skutkować mogą istotnymi błędami na etapie projektowania i wykonawstwa tych obiektów. Sama obecność konstrukcji fortyfikacyjnych z reguły uwzględniana jest na każdym etapie realizacji inwestycji, niekiedy jednak pomijane są uwarunkowania geotechniczne będące skutkiem przekształcenia terenu w otoczeniu budowli fortyfikacyjnych. W niniejszej pracy przedstawiono wpływ nieuwzględnienia w rozpoznaniu geotechnicznym bliskiego sąsiedztwa zamku w miejscowości Kórnik na warunki posadowienia pomostu w pobliskim jeziorze. Wskazano na powody nadmiernych osiadań podpór palowych oraz przedstawiono sposób naprawy zaistniałej sytuacji.

Defensive walls, moats representing the fortifications of old historic buildings as well as underground bunkers and bombs adits already in modern times are the elements of infrastructure, which omitted in the analysis of foundation conditions of the newly designed objects may result in significant errors during the design stage and execution of theese facilities. The very presence of fortified constructions is usually taken into consideration at every stage of the investment execution, however sometimes the geotechnical conditions resulting from the transformation of the area in the surroundings of fortified buildings are overlooked. At this work an influence of the failure to consider was described in geotechnical recognition the close neighbourhood of the castle in the town Kórnik on the foundation conditions of the pier in the nearby lake. The reasons of excessive settlements of piles supports were indicated and a manner to correct the occured situation was presented.

W obecnych czasach ze względu na fakt rozrastających się aglomeracji miejskich, a także wzrost ceny gruntów budowlanych często mamy do czynienia z potrzebą budowy obiektów w terenach trudno dostępnych lub na terenach już wcześniej zurbanizowanych, które pierwotnie, w szczególności po drugiej wojnie światowej, przeznaczone były na działalność przemysłową dużych zakładów produkcyjnych. W niniejszym artykule przedstawiono przykład możliwości wykorzystania istniejącej infrastruktury budowlanej na cele projektowanej inwestycji. W artykule przedstawiono przykład udanej realizacji obiektu budowlanego na zbiorniku przemysłowym. Opisano proces inwestycyjny, w którym autor odpowiadał za całość prac projektowych związanych z konstrukcją obiektu wraz z nadzorem autorskim.

Nowadays, due to the fact that the urban areas are constantly expanding, and due to the fact that the building grounds are more and more expensive, we often encounter a situation in which there is a need of erecting buildings in remote, hard to access areas or within the areas which had been urbanized earlier on, particularly the areas which originally, particularly after the World War Two, were to be used for industrial purposes, within the scope of needs of large industrial plants. The herein article presents the example possibilities, for using the existing building infrastructure, which can be used for the needs of the newly designed investment. In the article, a successful completion of a building based on an industrial gas holder has been presented. Investment process which involved the author has been described. The author of the present article has been responsible for all of the design works related to the object’s structure, along with author’s supervision.

W artykule przedstawiono sposoby wymiarowania powłokowej galerii transportowej na przykładzie istniejącego obiektu wybudowanego w latach 1970-tych. Analiza ta z uwzględnieniem istniejącego stanu technicznego, wykazała że konstrukcja stalowej powłoki spełnia wymagania niezawodności wg aktualnie obowiązujących w Polsce norm europejskich.

The article presents the ways of dimensioning a layered transport gallery, on the basis of an existing structure, erected back in the 1970’s. This analysis takes into consideration the technical status of the gallery. The analytical procedures show that the structure of the steel overlay meets the reliability requirements, in line with the European norms that are currently in force in Poland.
