Companies should constantly seek the causes and sources of irregularities. For this purpose, known and widely used quality management methods and tools should be used. Thanks to them, organizations will be able to identify key irregularities and then seek solutions for correction and improvement. Achieving high reliability of products, companies are able to fully meet their consumers’ needs. The paper explains the basic concepts related to quality. However, the most important issue is to present an example of solution using the Poka Yoke method, for an electronics company. The company specializes in the production and development of electronic and electromechanical components, for industries of different categories: household appliances, energy, automotive. The presented solution for improvement concerns modernization of workstations.

The purpose of this article is to show the essence of Lean Management, management practices applied by companies, and the possibility for this method to be used to further improve management in an organisation. W niniejszej pracy omówiono pięć rozwiązań pozwalających na udoskonalenie systemu bezpieczeństwa w przedsiębiorstwie. W celu ograniczenia czasu przyswajania informacji, poprawiając tym samym zrozumiałość przedstawianych treści, zaproponowano zastosowanie wizualnych instrukcji. Z kolei do ograniczenia wypadków zaproponowano narzędzie 5S, które umożliwia określenie zasad ładu i porządku na stanowisku. Następnie przedstawiono system udoskonaleń na podstawie metody Kaizen oraz Poka Yoke.

In the paper five solutions, which allow to improve safety system in the enterprise, were presented. In order to revise information time, thereby improving understanding of the presented contents, visual instructions were suggested. Next, to reduce accidents it was advised to apply 5S which helps to define the rules of law and order in work place. Furthermore, a continuous improvement system based on Kaizen and Poka Yoke method was discussed.
