The recognition of character information is one of the most important matters of the present day. One of such matters is the electronic mocrocircuit identification by optical recognition of back and white image of characrer mark on its body. Here is the system for microcircuit analysis and identification based on an input device in a computer of the videoimage of the microcircuit and identification structure and the new method of line segmentation are described.

Nowadays optical recognitions systems (ORS) are widely used in recognition and inspection of various radioelectronic products. In this paper the principles of ORS creation are presented.the principles of fuzzy adaption and fuzzy recognition are also reported. Our fuzzy algorithms yield new insight into design of optical system. These algorithms can process the low contrast images in real-time mode. They can recognise the multicontour object, which can be turned around, moved from the frame centre and scale chnged.
