The aim of the article is to examine how the textile industry in the Łódź Voivodeship has evolved in the context of building smart regional specialisations. The ideas underlying the concept of smart regional specialisation in order to use this foundation to outline the trends in the development and transformation of the textile industry in Central and Eastern European countries are described. The transformation of the innovative capacity of this industry in the Łódź region is shown. The research used an analysis of existing materials, statistical methods and LQ location indicators. Specific territorial capital accumulated for over two centuries and encapsulated in tradition, knowledge, skills, and economic relations in the Łódź region has provided a unique economic potential for the development of the textile industry. The period of rapid transformation was followed by stabilisation and the reconstruction of its potential and building smart specialisation, which will become the impetus for regional competitiveness.

W artykule opisano metody stosowane w celach kontroli jakości produkowanych wyrobów - masek medycznych w zakładzie produkcyjnym. Jednym z rozwiązań mających na celu poprawę jakości produkowanych masek medycznych oraz nadzoru nad produkcją jest wprowadzenie tzw. naukowej organizacji pracy (NOP). W artykule omówiono ogólne zasady postępowania podczas kontroli jakościowo – pomiarowej maski medycznej typu II. W trakcie procesu kontroli jakości masek stosowano dwie metody badawcze – wizualną oraz laboratoryjną. Metody te pozwoliły na uzyskanie najbardziej miarodajnych wyników, a tym samym umożliwiły w szybki i rzetelny, ale nie skomplikowany sposób, zareagować w przypadku powstałych, widocznych uszkodzeń celem wytworzenia powtarzalnego, a jednocześnie wysokiej jakości wyrobu.

The article presents methods used to control the quality of manufactured products – such as medical face masks. One of the methods of improving the quality of manufactured medical masks and production supervision is the use of the so-called Management and Organizational Science (MOS). The article discusses the general rules of conduct for quality and measurement control of type II medical mask. Two mutually complementary - visual and laboratory research methods were used in the mask quality control process. These methods made it possible to obtain the most reliable results, and to react quickly and reliably, yet not in a too complicated manner, in the event of occurrence of a visible product defect in order to produce a repeatable and high-quality products.
