The article describes methods for non-destructive testing of welded joints, with particular focus on structures of high strength. Examples of structural units tested at OBRUM are presented along with the justification of the choice of the test method applied. In summary, reference is made to the limitations of the test methods and to possible errors in the assessment of the correctness of the welded structures.

W artykule opisano metody służące do nieniszczących badań połączeń spawanych, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem konstrukcji wysoko wytrzymałych. Przedstawiono przykłady przebadanych w OBRUM Sp. z o.o. węzłów konstrukcyjnych, z uzasadnieniem użytej metody badawczej. W podsumowaniu odniesiono się do ograniczeń metod badawczych i możliwych do wystąpienia błędów w ocenie poprawności spawanych konstrukcji.

W artykule przedstawiono możliwości weryfikacji projektów z wykorzystaniem nowoczesnych narzędzi wspomagania projektowania. W celu zaprezentowania podstawowych funkcjonalności przydatnych do weryfikacji procesu projektowania użyto programu SolidWorks. Jest to bardzo rozwinięte narzędzie służące zarówno do projektowania, jak i do weryfikacji projektów. Przykładowym projektem był pojazd „Most towarzyszący na podwoziu kołowym kryptonim DAGLEZJA” zaprojektowany i wyprodukowany przez Ośrodek Badawczo-Rozwojowy Urządzeń Mechanicznych „OBRUM” sp. z o.o.

The article presents possibilities for verifying the design process using modern computer-aided design tools. In order to present the basic functions useful to verify the design process Solidworks program was used. It is a highly developed tool for both design and verification projects. An example project was a vehicle "Supporting bridge on a wheeled chassis codename MS-20 Daglezja", designed and manufactured by Centre for research and development machinery "OBRUM" Ltd. from Gliwice, Poland.

Paper presents the problems connected with designing new concept vehicles for defence industry as well as modelling and simulation methods issues on the basis of WMI and MG20 vehicles. Project development process of MG20 vehicle laying kit, separate analysis phases starting from kinematics sketch and development of concept model of the system through strength computation of structure, ending with development of working documentation and vehicle model execution were presented. The concept of modern Multi-task Engineering Machine provided for engineering troops was presented in this work. Execution of tasks on modern war theatre, during intervention and peace missions as well as during natural disasters effects counteractions requires a specialistic engineering equipment adapted for special military and civil demands. High mobility and versatility are the main parameters that feature this equipment. Within the scope of operational needs review, the need to deploy the Multi-task Engineering Machine to engineering troops, which is to substitute old-fashion and very used single-task machines used up to now. Disused structures of engineering machines used in Polish Military Forces during recent decades had large weight and low versatility. Their structures were based of heavy, deceptive and high operation cost the drive systems. Engines of low efficiency, hard to maintain and servicing the drive transmission systems made difficult common application and execution of engineering works. The greatest disadvantage of engineering vehicles that are used by Polish Military Forces is low mobility. This causes significant difficulties to transport a vehicle to the location where works and tasks are being carried out, frequently of distance several hundred kilometres (for instance, while removing natural disasters effects).

Artykuł przedstawia opis nowoczesnego mostu samochodowego - przęsła transportowanego na podwoziu samochodowym, gdzie podwozie oprócz funkcji transportowej ma możliwość położenia oraz zdjęcia przęsła z przeszkody terenowej. Most umożliwia szybkie pokonywanie wąskich - o szerokości do 20m - naturalnych i sztucznych przeszkód terenowych pojazdom będącym na wyposażeniu SZ RP i państw NATO i innym pojazdom, pod warunkiem że nie będą one wywoływały obciążenia większego niż klasy 70MLC dla pojazdów gąsienicowych - 110MLC dla zestawu pojazdów kołowych.

Article represent modern bridge on vehicle chassis MS-20 Daglezja - bridge span transported on special mobile transportation vehicle, where chassis, despite transportation, has opportunity to lay as well as to remove the span from site obstacle in very short time. Bridge allows rapid overcoming natural and artifical site obstacles of width up to 20m for Polish army and NATO vehicles, subject to impose a load less than 70MLC for trach laying vehicle, and HOMLC for wheeled vehicles. Vehicle has a lot of characteristic features. The MS20 vehicle bridge of cryptonym "Daglezja" with easiness can run in heavy terrain thanks to practical application of 12x12 wheel drive. Important is that vehicle can go public ways without of pilotage, mainly thanks to possibility to change span width for transport, and to fact that overall dimensions are not exceeding traffic regulations. In consequence of above MS-20 Daglezja is allowed to ride on public ways, creating possibility to fast reaction if need be. Bridge can be used in many situations, not only in combat, but for example in situation of cataclysm and sudden necessity to deliver food and clothes, or other goods for separated from world population.
